This American muscle car is iconic in all the right places and modern where you want it. After all, everyone loves this color on a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro, and now finally you can reach up for that extra gear you've always sought after.
There's just something about a Hugger Orange Camaro. It's bold enough to warn others on the street to 'don't mess with me' and it just seems to be a beacon at car shows. This one is particularly nice because the color has been applied recently with a very professional hand. Even the SS strip package was painted on instead of decals, so they will stay straight and trouble free. What really helped make this car so iconic are the cowl induction hood, ducktail spoiler, and the RS front end that hides the headlights behind that aggressive black panel. The RS headlights in this car function flawlessly thanks to a recent conversion to electric openers. But for this '68 coupe, the allure is even hiding in the bright details like the pristine chrome bumpers, the SS callouts on the fenders, and the ARE Torq Thrust style alloy wheels.

Description
Step inside, and this is the perfect blend of vintage and new. For example, the black vinyl bucket seats, carpets, and door panels are all correct for 1968, and they still feel factory fresh. The driver gets a three-spoke Grant steering wheel that looks like it could have been original equipment, except it offers a sportier smaller diameter. Beyond that are some cool features like the original hear/defrost controls and iconic tic-toc-tac in perfect working order. But this one is about the upgrades, and you see that in places like the AM/FM/CD stereo and the quad auxiliary gauge package that has been updated to easy-to-read AutoMeter dials. But the most important feature is on the center console. By now you noticed the Hurst shifter, but have you counted the gears yet? Do you see that extra one?
Just as the fender callouts told you, under the hood is a 350 cubic-inch Chevy V8. Besides just looking nice and shiny with the air cleaner and valve covers, it's built to run with features like a Weber four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock performance intake, and a ceramic-coated header package. All of this power can easily be heard thanks to the dual exhaust with Dynomax mufflers. As we've been alluding to before, this Camaro has had a serious upgrade in its transmission. It's a Keisler five-speed manual with a RAM Automotive clutch kit. This package is not only great for handling some serious power (including any more you want to add,) but there's also something nice about having an extra gear in everyday life. Combine the flexible transmission with this coupe's power steering and front disc brakes, and this aggressively orange Camaro is also quite a nice cruiser.
This is a cool Camaro has the perfect package of show and go. So we know it won't last long at this price.
