But for the best ventilation, the windshield tilts forward to creating a substantial breeze when needed. There is no radio, but the beautiful part of a classic like this is you'll create a mental soundtrack of a softly playing jazz trumpet.

The combination of the 153 cubic-inch four-cylinder motor and three-speed manual transmission gives off an industrial symphony of simplicity. It is a rhythmic chug that feels like being in charge of a mini locomotive as the tempo increases with the acceleration. These cars were known for being quite comfortable with rubber engine mounts and four wheel brakes. You can also tell there's quality in the construction just by looking at the undercarriage photos. Everything from the yellow pine floorboards to the leaf springs are a great reminder of how sturdy things were built generations ago.
