There's something great about the early C3 design. It combines the long and low American look with the flying buttress rear and Kamm-back styling of the Europeans. Power comes from the original, matching-numbers 350 cubic inch V8, which delivers an advertised 270 horsepower. This one benefits from a heavy breathing Rochester four-barrel carburetor, and it also has a new Edelbrock performance intake (the original one comes with the car for the collectors.) This is mated to a stout TH400 three-speed automatic transmission to give this C3 the flexibility to intimidate through its new dual exhaust or just cruise comfortably on the highway. In fact, this Stingray has plenty of great features that help both performance and luxury. This includes the power steering, four-wheel disc brakes and modern BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires for good all-around good grip.
