This is a split-bumper car that has a 350 V8 with plenty of go-fast parts under the hood. So it's going to be really hard to look at everything this 1972 Chevrolet Camaro has to offer and not fall in love.
You're looking at the product of a complete two-year restoration. This means the bright yellow paint gives one heck of a shine when you park it at the car shows. Why are we immediately taking about car shows? Because everyone loves to see a split-bumper Camaro so you'll definitely be invited to plenty with this one. From the deep chin spoiler up front to the rear ducktail spoiler, the car looks fast from any angle and you simply can't go wrong with black SS stripes.
The bodywork is super straight, the crease running along the side is sharp enough to give you a paper cut, and the stripes are crisply outlined against that vivid yellow paint. Open and close the doors and you'll find that they move better than even when new, which is remarkable given the size of these pieces of Detroit metal.
GM designers nailed it with the second-generation Camaro's interior, which was definitely more driver-oriented than the early cars. With black buckets, matching carpets, and a set of very nice door panels, this Camaro has a very cohesive look that is inviting as well as functional. The same can be said for the center console, but the big, bright B&M shifter that that proudly sits on top of this is all business. Other driver-oriented upgrades include the comfortable wood rimmed steering wheel and the auxiliary gauges. Plus, everyone can enjoy more modern tunes with the very adaptable AM/FM/cassette stereo.
Lift the hood, and you can tell it's no ordinary 350 cubic-inch V8. This is a four-bolt main block that has built up with robust components such as a steel GM crankshaft, 185 casting heads with stainless steel valves, and X rods. Add in go-fast parts like lightweight flat top pistons (rotating assembly balanced), Erson custom grind camshaft, roller rockers, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Holley carburetor, and an MSD ignition/distributor package. The exhaust runs into long tube headers on its way through a thunderous dual exhaust system with performance H-pipe construction. But this is more than just a complete performance rebuilt. Look at the undercarriage pictures, and you'll see that the extent of this thorough restoration goes right down to the polyurethane bushings. Driving this well-sorted Camaro is a pleasure thanks to features like the modern BF Goodrich rubber on the period-correct charcoal wheels and front disc brakes.
A seriously powerful and beautiful coupe like this deserves a good new home, and at this price, we know it won't be long before it gets one. Call Today!!!
