TOP NOTCH CAR, FUEL-INJECTED 440 V8, ALL NEW PARTS, 4 WHEEL DISCS, MODERNIZED!

This highly optioned 1974 Dodge Challenger is everything you love about a classic Mopar. More than just the paint or the 440 V8, this has taken some of the best pieces of the legendary Challenger name and put it in one outstanding package.

You know a first-generation Challenger just simply by its distinctive and aggressive silhouette. But take your time with the details on this one, because its restoration added all the coupe's best pieces over this model's subtle evolution. For starters the bright paint is the Citron Yella (Curious Yellow). This came out of Chrysler's famous High Impact color wheel, and it's quite rare only officially being offered on the Challenger in 1971. But beyond interesting history this one looks especially vivid thanks to a recent professional respray. It provides a nice contrast to the Rallye Package that gives you the hood scoops, blacked-out grille and bold side strobe stripes. The matte black on the hood and the rear spoiler just amplify the aggression in this coupe. But not all of the trim's attitude dark. Up front the chrome bumper has no guards to ruin the sleek look, and the same is repeated in the rear. And the Magnum 500 wheels were an original option that everyone still loves to see today.

There is evidence of the restoration on every inch of the pristine black interior - from the door panels to the carpets to the headliner. The moment you slip into the high-back bucket seat, it feels like 1974 all over again. You've got the desirable center console with the T-bar gearshift sitting boldly in the middle of the wood veneer. Beyond the Grant GT sports steering wheel is where the Rallye Package comes through again with full set of gauges, including the factory tachometer in the center. But in a car like this you want to be able to keep everyone happy, and that's why it has nice features like the AM/FM/CD stereo and ice cold air conditioning that runs modern R-134a.

Under the hood you see the monster 440 Magnum V8 has all the right Mopar Performance parts to look dark, sleek, and chic in the bright engine bay. This modern attitude is not just in the appearance, but also in the execution. This V8 has FAST fuel injection, Fireball HI-6 ignition, and dual electric fans. It makes this one both fierce and reliable, which is something we see throughout the car. For example, the H-pipe construction of the dual exhaust makes a wicked sound and delivers a more even performance. The power steering and three-speed automatic transmission make this perfect for cruising. Plus, the four-wheel disc brakes attached to wide BF Goodrich tires are great for everything from stoplights to the backroads.

You're looking at one of the most interesting classic and rare Mopars (remember, the '74 model was cut short making it the lowest production year.) It takes some of the best features over the model's short run and adds some great updates. But deep down you know you want this because a Challenger is a muscle car icon, and this one can't be ignored everywhere it goes. Call today!!!
