PRO TOURING, 425HP LS V8, CUSTOM INTERIOR, FULL SUSPENSION, 6 SPD, PRO BUILT CAR

We could tell you that you're looking at a Corvette in sheep's clothing, but this 1966 Chevrolet Nova is so much more. This pro touring machine has been so thoroughly custom built that it leaves you wanting for nothing, and its 425 hp LS1 V8 leaves everyone else in your wake.

Should we call it a coincidence that the most popular Corvette color in 1966 was Nassau Blue, which is pretty darn close to the Nova's Marina Blue? Well read into that what you want because this factory-correct color is guaranteed to amaze on the show field. It's a recent very professional application, and the modern paint practices gives it a metallic element and depth that could never be imagined a half-century ago. And since bold paint takes away from some of the sleeper status that these early Novas enjoyed, this one amps up the aggressive features. The gray side hockey stick stripe looks like it was borrowed from a future Camaro, and the color matches perfectly with the Coys wheels. Even if the larger rear ones do a great job of tucking into the bodywork, they still give this coupe a nice forward-leaning stance. Every piece of chrome appears in pristine condition, from the wide stock bumpers, to the tall ... Please ask for the full description.

Every piece of chrome appears in pristine condition, from the wide stock bumpers, to the tall taillight surrounds. There's even a few custom touches of brightwork with a machined bottom plate providing fresh air up front, and a matching panel running across the trunk.

Open the door, and you won't recognize this as a Nova because everything is a custom build. The gray accent color from the outside is actually a unifying color matches the interior leather. You'll be searching for quite some time before you can find a crease or an off stitch on the custom door panels, center console, or bucket seats. In fact these front seats don't rise above the doorline, which is important because you get a great profile when people can see all the way through the side view on this pillarless hardtop. Beyond just stylish, this is quite a comfortable interior with features such as Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo with built-in navigation system and modern R-134a air conditioning. As the next owner you better like chrome and leather because that's all you'll really be touching with the performance stick shift and three-spoke steering wheel. Beyond that is a full set of AutoMeter gauges placed in a custom panel that lets you know about everything going on in the engine bay.

That might be a modern LS1 V8 under the hood, but it looks perfect in this classic. After all, the brightwork on everything from the A/C compressor to the valve covers are exactly what you want on a '60s-style machine. But beyond looking amazing, this motor makes the kind of rhythmic rumble out of the dual exhaust that can only come from a big modern motor. The reason for this is the fuel-injected 5.7-liter motor has been adapted to the Nova with reliable electronics from Painless Performance Products, and the six-speed manual transmission has a Zoom clutch and flywheel. The power unfailingly gets to the ground via Ford 9-inch rear end running a 4.10 gear for power takeoffs. This one even handles the gobs of torque running to the back wheels with ease thanks to the reinforced four-link coilover rear end. But this is more than just a straight-line bruiser. The A-arm independent front suspension, power steering, and Wilwood four-wheel disc brake package make this sprightly Nova positively entertaining on any backroad. Plus, the Nitto Extreme ZR tires are always up for all performance conditions.

This Nova is one of those cars that you cannot build yourself simply because most people's address book doesn't have the depth of professionals needed to execute such an all-around amazing car. Take your time to look at the quality of this well-coordinated coupe, but don't wait too long, because there will never be another one like it. Call today!!!
