STRONG LS5 454 V8, POWER FRONT DISCS, AWESOME PAINT, CLEAN INTERIOR, SS DASH!

This is the kind of muscle car that commands attention. It's an amazing bright red 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS coupe that has all the exterior options and big 454 LS5 V8 under the hood. So it has the look and the sound to turn heads whether it's across the show field or just at a stoplight.

GM's A-body aged quite well during the muscle car era, and even in 1971 it was still one of the top predators on the street. That means there's no need for subtlety, so you may as well paint it bright red with black SS stripes like this one. But it takes more than just investing in a professional paint application to make a superior muscle car. That cherry red was recently wet sanded to make sure the sunlight hits the straight body panels just right so that they appear slippery wet. Plus, all the important brightwork is new, including headlight bezels, glass trim moldings, emblems, grille moldings, and front and rear bumpers. Even the black vinyl top is new. This Chevelle might have a premium appearance, but its aggression is also unmistakable with the ZL2 cowl induction hood, hood pins, and correct SS wheels.

Inside, that same premium but aggressive feeling continues. It starts with the dark as ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

It starts with the dark as midnight interior that also has some nice bright accent touches. The door panels, carpets, headliner, dash all feel new. The bench seats are the true symbol of a bruiser-style muscle car, except these are exceptionally more comfortable with individual gray cloth inserts for the drive and passengers. The driver also gets the correct premium sports steering wheel and beyond that are the upgraded round gauges cluster that includes a tachometer. So what you get is a Chevelle that can carry all your friends and family, but it's the driver that clearly gets the most fun.

Under the hood is were you really see the premium aggression. The 454 cubic-inch V8 fills the engine bay, and it's a beast you'll love showing off because of how good it looks. This is more than just fresh belts, wires, and hoses. It has all the correct features like the black air grabber, Chevy orange paint on the block, and the correct bright valve covers that were reserved for the powerful big block motors. The factory rated the LS5 at 365 horsepower, and this one goes beyond that with performance upgrades that include an Edelbrock Performer intake and ceramic coated long tube headers. It makes the unmistakable rumble of power out of the H-pipe dual exhaust. But just because this is a performance machine does not take away from its comfortable cruising nature. It has features such as a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes. Grip is also well in hand with modern BF Goodrich tires.

This is a Chevelle SS 454 that's fierce and fashionable from every angle. There's been a lot invested to make it this attractive, but you don't have the break the bank to get it home. Call today!!!
