ROTISSERIE RESTORED, AMAZING CONDITION, 302 V8, ALL DOCS, LOOK UNDERNEATH!

The Ford Mustang II holds one of the most interesting places in the pony car's history. It was built for the smaller and more fuel efficient times that many thought the original Mustang outgrew over the years. But as much as second generation set sales records in the 70s, these coupes are a rarity today. That's likely why you're checking out this 1977 Ford Mustang Ghia coupe that's been so well preserved and restored. In fact, this car was the recipient of a painstaking nut-and-bolt full restoration by the current owner. Literally, every nut and bolt on this car has been redone to the highest standard, the restoration was so expensive (and much more than the asking price) that the owner stopped counting! This is one of the nicest 1977 Mustangs in the entire world, guaranteed.

Take your time and look over all the pictures. This Mustang II is just as nice as it seems, and the tan paint is just as near-perfect as it appears. The design of this coupe is now starting to really be appreciated. The Coke-bottle sheet metal also carries the style lines in the doors that are reminiscent of the original Mustang. The bold headlight pods and roofline could be compared to the Monte Carlos ... Please ask for the full description.

The bold headlight pods and roofline could be compared to the Monte Carlos of the era, and that was no accident on this top-of-the-line Ghia model. It was aimed to give a premium touch, and this particular one even seems to have every option box checked. That's why it has such interesting features as the luggage rack with tie-down straps, black half vinyl roof, and those standout lacy-spoke aluminum wheels.

These Mustangs were designed to be little gems, and the top Ghia model really showed that off. The plush button-top vinyl interior is still nice enough that looks and feels like 1977 is today. When you get behind the wheel, the factory center console supports your arm with the kind of comfort you get in a modern car. The tan interior mimics the exterior color scheme with black accents on places like the seatbacks and door trim. But as luxurious as this feels, Ford left in some of the Mustang's original sports car feel with aggressive elements like the engine turned panel on the dash that debuted in '77. While everything looks period-correct right down to the controls for factory air conditioning, there is one modern piece nestled within the driver's controls. The AM/FM/CD player is not a bold standout, but you'll be quite happy it's there if you feel like taking long trips in this comfortable Mustang.

Under the hood is something you like to see in any Mustang, a 302 cubic-inch V8. Ford had to do some maneuvering to shoehorn this big motor in there, so it's amazing they were able to paint the engine bay in the recent restoration. Still, we already know what you're thinking – a big V8 in a little lightweight car is the right recipe for a lot of fun. We won't stop you from upgrading this one, because after all, the 302 has one of the largest and most affordable performance parts catalogs out there. But before you dream of hot rodding this little Mustang, take a look at how clean the engine bay is. In fact, look at how well everything is presented in the undercarriage photos, too. It's about now that you remember the Mustang IIs are also a favorite in the custom car world because people like its tight handling suspension, power steering, and front disc brakes. Are you starting to get the picture on this one? The Mustang II is a renowned nice driver with admirable components, and this one is so well maintained you could drive every day.

This is the best Mustang II Ghia you're likely ever going to see. We even have the restoration photos, reproduction build sheet, reproduction window sticker, and owner's manual to back it up. It's the most affordable way to maximize your attention at everything from cars shows to even just weekend drives. Call today!!!
