MODERN COIL-OVER SUSPENSION, STRONG 302 V8, COLD R134 AC, RARE VICTORIA, NICE!

1951 was the first year for the Ford Victoria, and this is where Ford first really satisfied America's post-WWII desire for great styling and premium touches. Of course, when it comes on a super-slick hot rod with great paint and upgraded V8 power, then this is the perfect coupe to fit in with any vintage crowd.

When you want a cool-looking custom, the Victoria is the right place to start. Its pillarless hardtop design with wraparound rear windshield is a premium feature that makes this far more rare than the standard coupe. But this is so darn attractive Ford Victorias actually outsold Chevy's line-topping Bel Air in '51. This one looks amazing dressed in a shade of burnt orange that has so much clearcoat it looks like candy-coated Tootsie Pop. It sets off the custom car attitude, but this one also keeps its vintage appearance, and the best place to see it is on the black roof that pays homage to this car's original Code A Raven Black color. Like any good 1950s coupes, this one has plenty of brightwork led by the large front bumper and intricate grille that doubled down on the previous year's bullet-nose style. There's great trim around the hardtop and running down the side of the ... Please ask for the full description.

There's great trim around the hardtop and running down the side of the car. It all wraps around the rear end whose design was hinting at the tailfin era that was coming soon. But those are the great vintage touches. This hot rod lets people know it's special with the chrome in the headlights and those bright American Racing Torq Thrust wheels.

The interior tells you this one is special, too. It starts with a dash painted in the same great burnt orange, and there's even custom pinstriping in the center. Everybody gets the comfort of wide brown cloth seating with a cool vinyl insert. Plus, there's an AM/FM/CD stereo and comfortable air-conditioning running modern R-134a. The driver gets the cool original steering wheel and the big art deco speedometer, but one look at the full set of auxiliary gauges, and you'll know there's something special under the hood.

It's nice to see a Ford get upgraded in the engine bay, while still keeping the power in the blue oval family. Under the hood is 302 cubic-inch V8 that's been given plenty of nice features, including the Cobra valve covers, Edelbrock air cleaner, and four-barrel carburetor. It makes a seriously sweet rumble from the glasspack dual exhaust. But more than just a great powerplant, take some time to look over this full build. You'll see the upgraded adjustable independent front suspension, and in the rear is a nice coilover setup. You'll feel this improvement on the road, especially when working with other features such as the three-speed automatic transmission, front disc brakes, and modern Nitto performance tires.

This is the custom Ford that has the great driving features to prove it's much more than just a car built to pick up show trophies. Best of all, you can pick it up at a very affordable price. Call today!!!
