The gray tweed is a comfortable way to get the full custom appearance. In true craftsman fashion, this material covers the full interior, including the door panels, headliner, trunk, and even the dashboard. Of course the tweed also covers the seats, allowing these more comfortable later model buckets to seamlessly blend with the rest of this classic Chevy. In fact, the seats that now proudly declare the body's birth year in bold yellow stitching. It's easy to recognize the later model Chevy sports steering wheel that's mounted on a GM tilt column. Beyond that are a full set of Classic Instruments gauges, and just below is the custom panel that houses the AM/FM/cassette stereo, CB radio, and provisions for R134a air conditioning.

Cruising is easy with the right powerplant, and the 305 cubic-inch Chevy V8 is the correct combination of horsepower and reliability. It comes with enhancements like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Weiand intake for added performance, and an electric fan to keep you running cool even at parade speeds. But this full package is more than just good performance and the right street rod rumble. You have the comfort of a Mustang II style independent front suspension, automatic transmission, front disc brakes, and power steering. So now you're starting to get the picture on how versatile this custom Chevy really is.
