383 STROKER, TURBO 400, R134 AC, BUCKET SEATS, PS, PB, POWER LOCKS, NICE CAR!

You might be looking at this 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS because of the investments in the beautiful color combo, modern enhancements, and its big 383 stoker V8. But we absolutely know the first thing that caught your eye is this iconic Chevy is one of the most affordable around.

Let's start with the paint because it makes such a bold first impression. The Dark Blue Metallic was obviously not part of the factory palette, and instead the original Sandalwood was traded in for something more modern than can't help but grab attention. The butter smooth shine is the product of a professional hand and plenty of modern clearcoat. Add to that the proper dual Super Sport stripes in a light shade of silver. Other correct SS upgrades include the blacked-out grille, cowl-induction hood, and appropriate badges throughout. The full package slows traffic because there are few more menacing sights in a rear-view mirror than a Chevelle SS thundering up behind you. It's also got some very nice chrome, particularly the bumpers, and there's something special about the iconic Cragar wheels that really bring this full vintage and aggressive package together.

The butter smooth shine is the product of a professional hand and plenty of modern clearcoat. Add to that the proper dual Super Sport stripes in a light shade of silver. It's also got some very nice chrome, particularly the bumpers, and there's something special about the iconic Cragar wheels that really bring this full vintage and aggressive package together.

Black buckets flanking a center console make this Chevelle a lot more desirable than most of its bench seat siblings. It leaves room for the iconic horseshoe shifter that makes this coupe really feel like a Super Sport. The seat covers, door panels, and carpets are all quite nice, and help showcase the practical side to this muscle car. After all, it has the interior space to seat five, and there are conveniences like power locks, keyless entry/alarm, and a newer AM/FM/CD stereo will keep everyone entertained. There's even provisions for R-134a air conditioning. But at its heart, this is a true driver's car. That's why you can see the AutoMeter tach clearly through the factory wheel, and there's a set of auxiliary gauges for oil, water, and power, so you constantly know what's going on with the beast under the hood.

The engine bay is home to a 383 stroker V8. But beyond just an increase in displacement, this motor also benefits from performance upgrades such as a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and long-tube headers. So the sound that comes out of the dual exhaust is a mighty roar. And thanks to tidy, belts, hoses, and good maintenance, it's easy to go thundering down the road on a whim. That's exactly the point of a muscle car like this. It has been built to show off its fantastic looks to the world with easy driving features such as the TH400 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, front disc brakes, and BF Goodrich T/A rubber at all four corners.

This Chevelle might be a bold sight and make an intense sound, but it's quite easy on the wallet. That's why we know you might want to hurry up and stake you claim to this one. Call today!!!
