The machine turned dash console is a hallmark of the GTO, and it's the perfect home for the original components such as the clock and heat/defrost controls. Just below it is an upgraded AM/FM radio that retains the original knob-style look and feel. And of course you've noticed the cool vacuum gage and tach mounted on the center console. Since this V8 is so important, there have also been auxiliary gauges added, too.

The 389 cubic-inch V8 in the engine bay is what started the revolution. This car features its original, numbers-matching motor and it's still properly dressed in the Pontiac light blue block and shiny valve covers. But that's not what really caught your attention. Instead, you and everyone else will be marveling at the optional triple-deuce carburetor setup that's currently on this coupe. With an engine bay that looks this well maintained, it should be no surprise that this GTO fires up eagerly, the dual exhaust gives a growl that really did make people think there was a tiger under the hood.
