1971 was a great year for the Mustang if you're a fan of American flair. This was the first appearance of a major restyle, and it followed Detroit's maxim of lower, wider, and longer. Under the hood this Mustang has a correct 351 Cleveland V8. It keeps to proper H-code appearance with the big air cleaner and Ford blue paint on the block. In fact, it looks so correct that the consignor believes this is the original motor. It has been upgraded to a four-barrel carburetor for added power and better rumble out of the dual exhaust. More importantly, this is a well-maintained V8 that comes with thousands in maintenance receipts, including a recent one for servicing that includes a new rear main oil seal, oil pan gasket, and power steering pump.
