350 V8, AUTO, PS, PB W/4 WHEEL DISC, R134a A/C, LASER STRAIGHT, NICE RESTORATION

There's just something unmistakably cool about this 1964 Chevrolet El Camino all dressed in electric blue. But beyond the show-stopping appearance, it has been restored with a powerful 350ci V8, A/C interior, bucket seats, and four-wheel disc brakes. Oh yeah, this muscle car classic is also everyday comfortable.

This is the first year the El Camino was made from the intermediate Chevelle underpinnings. The move by Chevy is now legendary for really turning this coupe/pickup into a performance machine. You see the history perfectly on this restored example because the Electric Blue Metallic reflects the aggressive legacy that this very cool vehicle has now earned. Not only is the color beautiful, but when it's as glossy as this, it also is the best shade to show off this pickup's amazing body. We're not sure if this El Camino never worked for a living, or if the rumored $55,000 restoration included getting the body this straight. Either way, it now has excellent gaps and impeccable fit that gives off the perfect uniform shine when the sunlight hits it. With paint and bodywork so nice, only the best brightwork will do. That's why the wide chrome bumpers, window trim, and even the ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

That's why the wide chrome bumpers, window trim, and even the tailgate hinges have a mirror-like appearance. What's even more amazing is the condition of the bed. It's often a heavily trafficked area, but on this truck it remains straight and seamless – there's even a rubber mat to keep it that way. The final piece to grab attention are the shiny American Racing five-spoke wheels that looks especially nice tucked under the rear fenders.

Open the door to a full custom interior. The rear and door panels do a great job of unifying the exterior blue and black of the interior – a very cool touch that they'll love at the car shows. Those Pro Car bucket seats provide far more comfort and bolstering than anything that came out of the '60s. You've got a passenger seat for a reason, and so you can keep him/her in comfort with modern features such as an AM/FM/CD stereo with aux/iPod input, a custom center console w/cup holders, power windows, and ice-cold R134a air conditioning. Buy what you'll really enjoy are the upgrades just for the driver. You get a Grant GT steering wheel for your left hand, and your right one falls perfectly on the Lokar shifter. You'll gaze at the custom panel with a full set of AutoMeter gauges – a clear indication that this El Camino has some serious power.

When you open the hood, all the polished components like the air grabber, A/C compressor, radiator shroud, and fined valve covers mean you'll love showing this engine bay off. But it's what's beyond the shine that's really impressive. This 350 cubic-inch V8 has go-fast goodies like a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Holley aluminum intake, and Hedman headers. When you mash the accelerator, the Flowmaster dual exhaust does the perfect job of matching the mean performance with a mean growl. But when you're just cruising, this El Camino settles down into a pleasant tune... and this dual personality is exactly how you should view this coupe/pickup. After all, the TH350 three-speed automatic is stout enough to handle all the V8 power, but also is a fine choice for easy cruising. Add in great anytime driving features like power steering and an upgrade to four-wheel disc brakes, and you can see yourself driving this vintage car everyday.

The '64 El Camino was out to offer the utility of a pickup with the comfort of a Chevelle, and this restored and upgraded custom only amplifies this very useful nature. When you can find something this amazing at such a great price, you're going to have to be quick to get it in your garage. Call today!!!
