EXCELLENT PAINT, C20 TRUCK WITH HEAVY DUTY SUSPENSION, GREAT RUNNING 350CI

We sell a lot of '60s Chevy pickup trucks like this 1967 example, but not many are the heavier-duty C20 models, which today we might call a ¾-ton. Same great looks, but with a long bed and a stout 350 under the hood, this one doesn't mind a little heavy lifting now and then and still looks great when you take it to the local cruise night.

The icy blue paint looks appropriate on the '60s truck, and it was nicely applied a few years ago. Despite the slightly heavier-duty underpinnings, the bodywork doesn't look like it had to do much hard labor or else someone spent a lot of time and effort getting it into shape, because it looks great. The simple lines of these trucks have aged rather well and today they are one of the hottest trucks on the collector market, with great parts availability and modern performance, all under some stylish skin. Good gaps and lots of time block sanding those long, long bed sides means that this one holds up under scrutiny, and unlike many of its contemporaries, it hasn't been customized or altered in any serious way. Nice details abound, including twin chrome mirrors, a great-looking set of bumpers, and a rear window neatly framed with a new rubber gasket. The ... Please ask for the full description.

The bed is protected with spray-in bedliner material that looks quite fresh and you'll note that the job was pretty thorough because the bed mounting hardware is still shiny.

The beautiful blue cloth interior is a nice upscale change from the usual sticky vinyl bench, and the three-across seating comes via a pair of buckets and a neat flip-up center position that doubles as a console. The big, vintage-looking steering wheel is appropriate for a big hauler like this and the gauges are crisp, clear, and attractive. Auxiliary dials under the center stack monitor things like oil pressure, temperature, and voltage and the stereo is upgraded to an AM/FM/cassette head unit that looks custom made just for this application. Blue covers every interior surface, including a dash pad that's in great condition and a set of custom kick panels with built-in speakers, which is a neat trick. Heavy-duty floor mats protect the carpets and the padded door panels make it feel a lot more comfortable on long highway drives. It's really nicely done.

V8 power is a big reason why trucks remain so popular, and the warmed-over 350 cubic inch V8 provides plenty of grunt to make this truck feel sporty. It's not radical, but it's got an upgraded intake and 4-barrel carburetor and a throaty dual exhaust system, so it remains easy to service and a lot of fun. Chevy Orange paint keeps everything looking suitably Chevy under the hood, and with a few chrome dress-up items you won't mind popping the hood now and then. Power brakes plus a heavy-duty TH400 3-speed automatic transmission mean this truck doesn't mind the heavy stuff if you want to head to Home Depot this weekend and the tidy undercarriage suggests a lifetime in a warm climate and not the rust belt. Flashy aluminum wheels look great and suitably beefy on the C20 and carry 265/75/16 Cooper truck tires that fill the fenders perfectly.

Nice truck, reasonably priced, and ready to work or play, this Chevy C20 gets all the big stuff right. Don't sit out another summer, take this one home and have some fun. Call now!
