ALL ORIGINAL SURVIVOR, ONLY 76K MILES, VERY CLEAN FOR AGE, NEAT FORD PICKUP!

Is this 1967 Ford F-100 a collectable? Maybe, maybe not. But for a surprisingly affordable price, you do get a truck that looks great, offers a strong-running V8 engine, and a long bed that can still do a day's work without complaint. Hard to beat that, right?

That's right, this truck remains almost completely original, and while it's not perfect, it also hasn't been worked to death and has evidently lived a good life. The code 6 Pebble Beige paint is holding up well and has that soft shine that only original paint can offer. The sheetmetal obviously benefits from a life someplace warm and dry and while pickups used for work tend to collect bumps and bruises along the way, this one seems to have escaped that particular fate. Check out the super straight molding along the truck's flanks, the great gaps, and the low-key look and it's easy to think it's about 1969 all over again and this truck is cruising down Main Street in a small town somewhere. The wooden bed sides add a functional, down-on-the-farm look, and it's got shiny chrome bumpers to help when you go downtown on Sunday. The bed has obviously seen some work, but again, the warm climate has kept it solid, so don't let the scuffs ... Please ask for the full description.

The bed has obviously seen some work, but again, the warm climate has kept it solid, so don't let the scuffs scare you away.

The all-original interior shows you that basic was still stylish in 1967, and while the original seat cover shows some wear and a few splits, it would be a shame to replace it, losing the originality. The deep-dish steering wheel looks sporty, and you can see years of use in its gently worn rim, but no cracks or major deterioration. Clean original gauges, a nice dash pad, and a durable rubber mat remind us what motoring was like 50 years ago and it's a great illustration of function being made attractive. It's definitely basic, but it's kind of remarkable that this truck has managed to spend decades without being modified or upgraded. Someone was taking pretty good care of it all along.

Ford's reliable and torquey 352 cubic inch V8 (no, not a 351) was one of several optional engines offered in 1967 and it's a great choice here. It's clean and well-maintained, with plenty of evidence of regular maintenance but also a lot of originality. Factory markings and decals are still visible on a lot of components and it runs very well with a great trucky V8 soundtrack from the old-school single exhaust system. The three-speed automatic transmission shifts well and even with manual steering and brakes, it's easy to manage around town. 3.25 gears in the 9-inch rear end mean that it is comfortable on the highway and the underside, while showing some surface scale, is in good original condition with more evidence of proper care. Painted steel wheels look to have been repainted and give the truck a clean, honest look and fat 235/75/15 whitewall tires, it rides well and looks sturdy.

Clean old pickups are a great way to get into the hobby, and this unmolested Ford offers great patina and an old-school look that will always get attention. Call today!
