Chevelle fans we've got a great one for you here. This 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle offers everything you want in your next heavy cruiser: big block power, the rumble of chambered mufflers, great paint, and bucket seats. Oh, yeah, the top goes down, too, making it one heck of an awesome summertime cruiser.

Outside, you'll find smooth and glossy Cranberry Red paint over well prepped flanks. While the 1970s are everyone's favorite A-body, there's a good argument to be made for the '71's more refined look and personally, I like the single-headlight look best. The black stripes and SS badging lend a performance look and with a cowl induction hood, everyone pretty much knows to leave this one alone. The chrome bumpers are brand new and bright. New door handles, a new driver side mirror and new stainless speak to the quality of the work. No, a bright red Chevelle convertible certainly isn't subtle, but this one stands up to the close examinations it's going to get.

Inside, you'll find a nice interior that's is neither worn out or in need of replacement. In fact, we think it shows the right amount of patina that speaks for this cars willingness to show it off. There's a small puncture on the driver's seat, but otherwise it looks very fresh. It's quite stock, from the 4-spoke steering wheel that should look familiar to Chevy fans as well as the horseshoe shifter on the center console. Factory gauges cover the basics, so a set of auxiliary dials were added under the dash, and the A/C uses all new hardware working behind the scenes. The black convertible top is in good condition and there was real money spent on the trunk, which has custom upholstery that matches the bodywork and upgraded stereo hardware nicely integrated into the design.

The big 454 cubic inch V8 is stout enough to get a big Chevelle up and moving. It's dressed to the nines; orange paint adorns the block but the valve covers and air cleaner are finished in chrome and a billet accessory drive gives it a custom look. Long tube headers dump spent gasses into a dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers with turn-downs just ahead of the rear axle. Power steering hangs to the engine's side, and a power brake booster was added to reduce effort. A dead reliable TH350 3-speed automatic transmission sends power back to a 12 bolt rear end so you don't have to worry about breaking stuff. Handsome 15-inch SS wheels are wrapped in reproductionF60-15 Goodyear Polyglas tires for a period-perfect look and feel.

If you're looking for a great cruiser, you'll need an intermediate muscle car. This one, with bright red paint, bulletproof mechanicals, new and shiny chrome pieces, and a great look should definitely be on your wish list. Call today!
