600HP 383 STROKER, CUSTOM DUMP BED, HIGH QUALITY BUILD WITH $170K SPENT, AWESOME

You probably looked at the price tag on this amazing 1976 Chevrolet K-10 Scottsdale and wondered what was up. It's no joke, this is quite literally the finest '70s Chevy pickup we've ever seen, and perhaps one of the best anywhere in the world. With more than $170,000 worth of receipts attached to the build, a 607 horsepower supercharged engine, and show-quality work throughout, it's every bit as stunning as you'd expect. And at this price, it's actually a screaming bargain.

This was a dream truck that got a no-expense-spared build by one of the top west-coast shops and with just 1200 miles on it, it's still extremely fresh. Almost every component on the truck was either massaged or built from scratch, but the workmanship is so well-integrated that you'd need a stock truck to see all the mods. The paint and bodywork are obviously show quality, a vivid electric green that demands attention wherever the truck goes. The finish is two-stage Glasurit, so it's deep enough to swim in and beautifully polished to give it a high gloss. A single black stripe highlights the simple lines of arguably the best-looking truck in a generation and all the factory trim was left intact. The front bumper is a ...

The front bumper is a custom unit that hides the Warn winch behind the license plate, while out back there's a hidden hitch. There are also compressed air and 110V hook-ups stashed in there to make this truck an awesome companion in the most remote areas you can find. Oh, yeah, did we mention that's a 7000 pound stealth dump bed finished with a spray-in bedliner and full-sized spare? Yeah, it's pretty cool.

At a glance, the interior looks pretty stock, but that's all part of the illusion. Everything is, of course, brand new, including the seat cover, carpets, door panels, and headliner, all installed on top of a ton of sound-deadening materials to keep it nice and quiet inside. Factory gauges are fully restored for a stock look, but the entertainment system is a custom AM/FM/CD/iPod/satellite system with a touch screen and back-up camera, all feeding a set of custom subwoofers hidden out of sight. A/C was installed to keep things comfortable and you'll note that the shift quadrant now offers an overdrive position, but we'll get to the hardware in a moment. Levers on the floor control the transfer case and locking differentials, and there's simply nothing inside this truck that isn't brand new.

The engine is a 607 horsepower 383 cubic inch V8 topped by a blower, so getting all this sheetmetal moving is never a problem. It starts easily and idles like a stocker, and even the exhaust is quiet so most folks won't even realize something special lives under the hood. The firewall has been smoothed and painted to match the body and wherever possible, the plumbing and wiring was hidden out of sight. A serpentine belt drive system keeps it looking stock and there's a disc brake at each corner to keep it under control. A brand new heavy-duty 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission feeds an Atlas 4 transfer case, Tom Woods driveshafts, and 4.11 gears in both axles with TruTrack limited slip differentials. There's a Superlift 2.5-inch suspension upgrade to give it plenty of clearance for those giant tires, which measure 33x12.50R15 and spin on Mickey Thompson wheels, including the spare.

This truck is beyond impressive. There's so much more here that we can't possibly hope to cover it all and it really needs to be seen to be believed. Yes, it really is as exceptional as you'd expect at this price, so call now!
