The 5.0-liter Mustang always represented fun on a budget, and the bang-for-the-buck meter is pegged with this locally-owned 1994 Mustang GT convertible. Better yet, it's almost completely stock except for the flashy wheels and hasn't been raced or abused like so many of its siblings, so it still represents affordable performance with a ton of potential.
The all-new 1994 Mustang was a pretty big deal when it hit the streets in the early 1990s, and the look has become almost as familiar as the generations before it. Wearing factory Laser Red paint, this southern ragtop has led a pretty easy life and still shines up nicely on a warm Saturday afternoon. It's not a perfect car, of course, but if you want a fast Mustang that hasn't been beaten up, wrapped around a tree, and rebuilt by a kid in his driveway, this is an excellent choice. Stock bumpers, a factory wing out back, and the distinctive 3-element taillights that were intended to recall the original 1965 models, remain in place, more evidence of this car's excellent pedigree, because those are often the first things that are replaced when the modifications start. Even the headlights remain clear and all the factory badges are still stuck ... Please ask for the full description.

Even the headlights remain clear and all the factory badges are still stuck to the sides of the car, making this an excellent survivor in every sense of the word.
The reinforced body structure of the SN95 Mustangs paid big dividends for the interior, which feels rock solid, even with a disappearing roof. Supportive white leather buckets are comfortable and supportive, albeit showing a bit of wear. There's only modest wear on the driver's seat with the rest of the interior looking quite well-kept, right down to the original carpeted floor mats. This GT came loaded with just about every available option, including A/C, power windows and locks, cruise control, a tilt wheel, and a 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission. Even the original AM/FM/cassette stereo with a CD player underneath is still in place. The black power convertible top was replaced just last year, and it opens and closes with the touch of a button and stacks nearly flush with the body for a clean profile. And while Mustangs have never been famous for their cargo capacity, the well-finished trunk is certainly big enough for a few overnight bags and still carries the original space-saver spare underneath.
What else can we say about the venerable 5.0 under the hood that hasn't already been said a hundred times? It's torquey, likes to rev, and is virtually indestructible, and happily runs on regular unleaded gas without complaint. The familiar intake manifold helps account for that stout torque curve and as I said earlier, finding an unmodified 5.0 Mustang is no easy feat. Even the original distributor cover is still in place! The 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission is always ready with a quick downshift, so all you need to do is point it and drop the hammer and the GT lunges forward. Four-wheel disc brakes with ABS were a long-overdue upgrade for the Mustang, and the suspension tuning on this ragtop is comfortable enough to drive every day. Mufflers are ubiquitous Flowmasters, so it has that Mustang soundtrack, but that's about it for modifications. Oh, and there are those gorgeous 17-inch polished aluminum wheels from a later Cobra Mustang that look fantastic and carry 245/45/17 performance radials.
Recently serviced and ready to enjoy, this Mustang is an incredible bargain, and with mods it's still all about reliable fun. Call today!
