SMALL BLOCK, R134 A/C, RACK N PINION, WELL MAINTAINED OLDER BUILD, POPPPERS

Some of the best advice in the car hobby is to always buy someone else's finished project. Take this 1934 Ford 3-window coupe, for example, which would cost a lot more than the asking price to build yourself, not to mention all the time you'd spend not driving it while you were trying to finish. Instead, why not take this great-looking coupe home and get with the fun already.

Of course the body's fiberglass, but that helps control costs and practically guarantees a great finish. With full fenders and that classic V-shaped grille, there's no mistaking the 1934 Ford and no body style has survived the decades better than the 3-window coupe. Although restored several years ago, thanks to a quality build and paint that was well-maintained, this one still looks good enough to show up at local cruise nights with pride. The scalloped look isn't so radical that it will look dated and the workmanship is impressive enough to get people giving it a closer look. The body is smooth and sleek, devoid of extraneous chrome and even the door handles have been shaved, so it has the look that everyone aims for, and the stuff that's there is exactly right. King Bee headlights, peep mirrors, and teardrop 1939 ... Please ask for the full description.

King Bee headlights, peep mirrors, and teardrop 1939 Ford taillights are traditional pieces of jewelry, but it all works to give this coupe a sleek, modern look.

Gray tweed is a great choice for the interior because it looks great and wears like iron. Wrapped around highly supportive low-back bucket seats, it gives the Vintage Ford the feel of a much more modern machine. Beautiful door panels were hand crafted and include billet handles and slender armrests and a matching rear bulkhead that adds a finished look. The instruments are old-fashioned-looking dials with white faces as well as a Sunpro tach, all set into a dash that bears more than a passing resemblance to the original '34 Ford. A custom center console houses the controls for the AM/FM/cassette stereo and a billet shifter for the TH350 3-speed automatic transmission, with the A/C system just above in the center of the dash. Seat belts are a nice safety addition that most rods don't include and the trunk is so nicely finished that you won't want to put luggage in there and you'll get plenty of chances to show it off with the fuel filler located back there, too.

Small block Chevy power means that this sleek coupe runs as great as it looks. With a 3-piece hood and a top panel that gives access for service, the V8 is a neat fit and looks great with Edelbrock cast aluminum valve covers and a matching air cleaner. The firewall has been smoothed and someone obviously spent a good deal of time installing the plumbing to keep things neat. A 4-barrel carburetor and block-hugging headers add power, yet it's docile enough to drive every day. R134a refrigerant in the A/C make it easy to service in the future and all the accessories are mounted tight to the block for good service access. An independent front suspension with rack-and-pinion steering gives it great road manners and the 10-bolt rear end has a very contemporary-looking trailing arm setup. American Racing aluminum wheels add just the right rake and carry 195/60/15 front and 235/70/15 rear Dayton radials.

For fun on four wheels, it's hard to beat a '34 Ford 3-window coupe with V8 power. This is a lot of car for the money. Call today!
