A-TEAM TRIBUTE , CHROME 5-SPOKE, CUSTOM PAINT, SHOW-QUALITY INTERIOR, MUST-SEE!

Yes, 1980s TV fans, you're seeing this correctly: a 1984 Corvette decked out just like the one “Faceman” used on “The A-Team.” And even if you're not a fan of the TV show, this is still a good-looking Corvette with a lot of nicely done upgrades for not a lot of money.

For reasons that aren't altogether clear, sometime during the second season of The A-Team, the producers decided that Face (AKA Templeton Peck) needed his own set of wheels. Maybe it was easier to pick up the ladies in a Corvette than in a conversion van, I don't know - but the car made a few appearances much to the delight of Corvette fans everywhere. With a paint scheme that somewhat resembled that of B.A. Baracus's distinctive black GMC van, this white Corvette definitely attracts attention. Clearly the workmanship was professionally done and it's likely that this clone is nicer than any studio car would have been (the actual car used in the show was a rental with the red stripe added using tape before each appearance). Check out the little details that catch your eye, like the black pinstripe that surrounds the red stripe itself and the “1984 A-Team Replica” decal in the rear window, just in case someone asks. The C4 ... Please ask for the full description.

A-TEAM TRIBUTE , CHROME 5-SPOKE, CUSTOM PAINT, SHOW-QUALITY INTERIOR, MUST-SEE!

Yes, 1980s TV fans, you're seeing this correctly: a 1984 Corvette decked out just like the one "Faceman" used on "The A-Team." And even if you're not a fan of the TV show, this is still a good-looking Corvette with a lot of nicely done upgrades for not a lot of money.

Check out the little details that catch your eye, like the black pinstripe that surrounds the red stripe itself and the "1984 A-Team Replica" decal in the rear window, just in case someone asks. The C4 always looked good in white, and with the recent paint job, this one is unquestionably nicer than most '84s still kicking around out there.

Surprisingly, the interior got a full makeover, too. The original seats were reupholstered in black and red ostrich skin and leather for a very custom look that actually works. You can tell good money was invested here, because the door panels, dash bottom, and even the carpets were changed to match the new color scheme and it's fitted with a custom steering wheel wrap that carries the theme. It's still got the original digital instrument panel, which is a great relic from the high-tech '80s, and as a Corvette, just about everything was standard equipment, from A/C to power windows to a lift-off roof panel. A Pioneer AM/FM/CD/iPod stereo replaces the original Delco AM/FM/cassette unit and sounds awesome, and I bet it won't be hard to download an MP3 of the A-Team theme song (you're already humming it, aren't you?). Even the hatch area looks freshly renovated and in excellent shape. Truly impressive inside, this is not a bargain-basement clone.

The engine is the stock Crossfire Injected 350 cubic inch V8 that came in all '84 Corvettes. It makes good torque and all the right V8 sounds, and linked to a quick-shifting 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission, it's a very entertaining car to drive. Obviously the plastic intake housing has been painted to match the body, another bit of proof that this was not a cut-rate build, and the rest of the engine bay looks nicely maintained and quite stock. Also, there's no need to let the mileage scare you – the engine was rebuilt approximately 30K miles ago, so with the recent transmission service, this one should be ready to re-enact some of your favorite scenes for many years to come. Underneath it's the same story, with a clean chassis, stock underpinnings, and a custom exhaust system that ditches the restrictive catalytic converter to release a few extra horsepower. And where the original TV car wore stock 16-inch alloys that always seemed kind of blah, this one wears gorgeous chrome 5-spoke wheels that match its personality exactly. Recent 275/40/17 radials have been fitted, giving this 30-year-old C4 a much more contemporary look.

So whether you're a fan of the show or just a fan of bargain-priced performance, this Corvette delivers. There's a LOT more than the asking price wrapped up in the build, making it one heck of a bargain either way. Call now!
