SLICK BLACK PAINT, NEW INTERIOR, CLEAN CARFAX, 305 V8, PS, PB, CHEVY POWER!!!

We should be glad for guys who love trucks like this 1985 Chevrolet C10, because they build wonderful old haulers and we get to pick them up for pennies on the dollar. Wearing sinister black paint, this handsome truck is a no-frills, entry-level kind of machine, but where else can you get this much charisma and functionality for so little cash?

Finished about six years ago, this truck received a color change from blue to black, and the fact that finding any blue paint on it today is difficult, means that the paint job was quite thorough. There's just no way to make one of these trucks look bad, but the basic black paint job gives it a no-nonsense appeal that works whether you want to use it as a hauler, or slam it and run it as a street machine. It does show a few signs of use, but it was never intended to be a trailer queen anyway, and the overall look is more akin to something that should be considerably more expensive. Everything's quite straight and with no deviations from the factory recipe, including original badges and big chrome mirrors, it has a handsome look that will never go out of style. The bed is protected with spray-in bed liner material, so get out there and haul ... Please ask for the full description.

The bed is protected with spray-in bed liner material, so get out there and haul something, will you? It also has shiny chrome bumpers front and rear, which sparkle against the black paint and work well with the tinted windows. Give it a wet sand and buff and watch it shine!

Basic black is the theme inside, too, where you'll find a brand new seat cover on the original bench. Once again, a color change pays off big time for you, the buyer, because everything is new, including the dash pad, and quite likely the door panels as well. It's all in good shape and doesn't dilute the basic goodness of the original design. The original steering wheel might be showing some signs of age and most of the gauges are circa 1985, but you'll find yourself at home almost instantly once you slide behind the wheel. After all, hasn't everyone with a driver's license driven one of these at some point? There are not a lot of options, but that also means there are fewer things to go wrong and I like the appeal of that kind of simplicity. Heck, there's not even a radio to mess up your afternoon when it conks out! Fortunately, they were smart enough to include a sliding rear window, so it stays pleasant and comfortable inside even on hot days.

The 305 cubic inch V8 is a strong runner, and with an aftermarket carb and a 10-year-old rebuild, it should continue to be a reliable partner for years to come. They didn't do anything radical under the hood, so it runs well once it's warmed up (manual choke, don't you know) and has a great V8 sound from the stock exhaust system, which still includes a catalytic converter. It's remarkably clean, suggesting someone really took care of it, and even underneath it doesn't look like it's spent any time in a rust belt area. An automatic transmission and stock rear end mean that it runs down the road properly and the stock wheels have painted center and spinners to give them a slightly custom look. Oversized 30x9.5-15 Yokohama radials fill the fender wells perfectly.

An affordable truck with a ton of potential, this is a great way to get a cool vehicle for not a lot of scratch. Call today!
