COMPLETE FRAME-OFF SHOW STOPPER RESTO MOD, 390 CI, SERPENTINE, RACK N PINION!

It's often hard to find the words to adequately describe cars as incredible as this 1957 Ford Custom 300. Outstanding in every way, it's a spectacular frame-off build finished to the very highest standards and ready to start collecting trophies at every show it attends.

1957 Fords naturally lend themselves to a two-tone paint job, so once the body was stripped, the issues were resolved, and the metalwork was finished, a spectacular and sophisticated combination of Ford Toreador Red and GM Light Pewter Metallic paints found their way onto the sheetmetal. It's instantly appealing and flashy, but also timeless so this isn't a car that will date itself easily and will look this good years from now. Panel fit is exemplary with even gaps and super straight alignment between the fenders and doors, a critical detail on these Fords due to the dramatic side trim. And speaking of side trim, it's original (and very rare) stainless with a trick insert that's been fully restored. All the chrome was re-plated and reattached with infinitely more care than the factory ever could manage and all the glass was replaced with new stuff offering a smoked tint. LED headlights light the way and there's really not ... Please ask for the full description.

LED headlights light the way and there's really not much you can do to make Ford's jet-like taillights any cooler, so they were merely polished and reinstalled.

The leather interior is equally stunning, combining old and new so seamlessly that you can't find the line. Those are the original seats, now wrapped in ultra-soft leather hides with new door panels created to match using designs that resemble the exterior trim. While you're admiring the door panels, also note that the two-tone paint scheme extends into the door jambs for a very trick effect. The dash and steering wheel were refinished in brilliant Toreador Red, with all the original instruments restored and intact. Vintage Air A/C was added using discreet vents under the dash and well-integrated controls, and there's a modern AM/FM stereo head unit in the dash. Original switches and knobs were retained wherever possible and all the wiring is new. The big trunk was restored to match the interior, using the same stylish side panels and plus carpets.

The engine is a 390 cubic inch V8 from a '67 Ford and it makes this handsome custom a fantastic cruiser on the open road. Like the rest of the car, the engine bay was built to show off, starting with a '54 Cadillac air cleaner painted to match the body and fitted with '390' badging. A polished Edelbrock intake and finned Cobra valve covers make it sparkle, and there's a 4-barrel carb underneath. A shiny aluminum radiator, beautifully finished accessories with a Concept 1 serpentine belt drive, and painted inner fenders and firewall mean that you'll want to open the hood every chance you get. Power front disc brakes and rack-and-pinion steering give it a modern feel on the road, and the highly detailed chassis was built for the road with a burbling dual exhaust system, C6 3-speed automatic transmission, and the original 9-inch rear. The stance was lowered just enough to make it look right, then the wheel wells were stuffed full of Billet Specialties wheels wearing 245/45/17 Toyo radials.

Cars simply don't get much nicer than this Ford and the fact that you can buy it for pennies on the dollar means that owning a show-winner is within your reach. Call today!
