ABSOLUTE SHOW-STOPPING CONCOURS-MELTING RESTO-MOD, NO EXPENSE SPARED, MUST SEE!

Cars like this absolutely incredible 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air don't come along very often. Professionally built and perhaps the most incredibly detailed car we've ever featured, it is a road map for how to build the ultimate custom. Featured on the cover of Ron Mangus's '55-57 Chevy interior catalog, this pro-built car will absolutely stop traffic everywhere it goes. If you're seeking the best of the best, this should be your next car.

No doubt it's a '55 Chevy Bel Air, but there's definitely a look to this car that's tough to quantify in a single glance. All the sheetmetal is stock and unaltered, albeit finished to show standards that make it stand out like a beacon among lesser cars. Perhaps it's the paint, a combination of House of Kolor Blue Blood Red and Custom White that gives it a traditional look that's blindingly well-finished. The perfect stance seems to make it look longer and lower than a stocker, but I assure you that the only bodywork this car received was the hundreds of hours spent getting it laser straight. All the original Bel Air trim was restored to show standards and reinstalled, and custom 1-piece bumpers add a super smooth look. In short, cars just can't get much nicer than this.

Obviously the interior is this car's calling card, a Ron Mangus masterpiece in tan leather and so full of custom tweaks we can't possibly list them all. The buckets are modified Lexus chairs, a custom center console was fabricated to sit between them, and gorgeous new door panels were installed. Everything inside is handsomely color-matched, including the dash pad and steering column, and there's not a single component that wasn't massaged in some fashion. Power windows, locks, and seats, A/C, a tilt column, cruise control, and a powerful AM/FM/CD stereo mean that it's ready to cruise and now that it shows about 5541 miles, you know everything has been sorted out. Handsome tan carpets provide just the right amount of contrast for it to look impossibly upscale and luxurious, and every single surface is covered in beautiful soft-touch materials. The trunk is also fully upholstered with a lid lining that mirrors the sectioned headliner inside the car, and all the working parts like the amplifier and battery have been very cleverly stashed out of sight.

The mechanicals of the car were as carefully crafted as the spectacular interior and lifting the hood you'll find a supercharged LS1 that's like industrial sculpture. Everything that's made of aluminum was polished or powdercoated, the inner fenders and firewall were smoothed, and all the plumbing and electrical wires were hidden out of sight. Even things as mundane as hose clamps were carefully studied and made beautiful on this car, and it's all completely functional and ready to enjoy. The suspension uses 2-inch drop spindles and Heidt's tubular A-arms that were powdercoated silver to look great against the satin black frame. The custom exhaust system tucks up tight to the chassis for great ground clearance and the 4L60E 4-speed automatic powers a 9-inch rear that has also been smoothed and powdercoated. Four-wheel disc brakes, adjustable dampers, and gorgeous Budnik wheels that resemble vintage Halibrands round out a very detailed chassis.

Appraised at more than $185,000, which would probably not cover the cost to build this car, this is a show-stopping trophy machine that is fully sorted and ready to drive. They simply don't get much better than this. Call today for all the amazing details!
