FIRST GEN BEAUTY, RS PACKAGE, DRIVES AS GOOD AS SHE LOOKS, 350 V8, PS, PB!!!

Some cars are simply immune to being a cliché. Aqua '57 Chevys, black Corvettes, purple Mopars...you see a ton of 'em and they still draw a crowd. Such is this red 1967 Camaro RS: there are many like it but this one could be yours!

It's refreshing to see a car like this one without the SS badging that's so common, it must come free with the purchase of a hamburger value meal. Instead you'll find the full Rally Sport treatment, and it's a lot of great-looking trim to accent the bright red panels. First and foremost is that famous grille with hideaway headlamps, and few cars can pull it off so well. Move to the sides with RS badges on the fenders, bright wheel lip moldings and rocker panel moldings. The tail panel features solid red taillights while the reverse lights are relocated to the valance panel. Subpar pieces would drag the car down so we're happy to report that the shiny bits from bumper to bumper are in excellent shape. The paint was laid down a few years ago over nice bodywork and there's plenty of shine for any car show you'll attend. The glass is mostly original and in nice shape, and the previous owner gave the car a Z/28 vibe with the cowl hood and front and rear spoilers, and ... Please ask for the full description.

The glass is mostly original and in nice shape, and the previous owner gave the car a Z/28 vibe with the cowl hood and front and rear spoilers, and we doubt you'll find anyone to complain about that. It's a car to be proud of for sure.

Inside you'll find exactly what GM intended and nothing more. There's a center console on the floor and an AM radio in the dash as well as a cool sport steering wheel in your hands. The headliner, door panels and dash are newer while the seat covers and carpeting are older reproductions. It's 60's chic in here with low back buckets, acres of vinyl and deep inset gauges. The trunk is also nicely finished with a full carpet set that isn't totally authentic but gives the car a very finished look.

Under the hood is a tried-and-true 350 cubic inch V8 that's been well dressed with a new restoration air cleaner, chrome valve covers, and Chevy orange paint. Horsepower is up thanks to an Edelbrock carb, an aluminum Weiand dual-plane intake and long-tube headers. Cruisers will be happy to see the power steering pump and power disc brake master cylinder, which make driving in traffic and parking a lot easier. The inner fenders and firewall were repainted a proper satin black, and there's another pop of shiny with the radiator shroud holding the original fan. It's a clean engine bay with nothing to complain about, which isn't as common as you'd think! In keeping with the car's mission as a quality driver you'll also find satin black floors and not some shiny surface that demands regular cleanings. Underpinnings are standard Camaro fare with independent front and monoleaf suspended rear, and the tired bits have been replaced. Newer tie rods, new control arm bushings and more keep the car pointed in the right direction and a recent Flowmaster exhaust system offers a great tone. US Chrome 17-inch wheels hold newer 235/45/17 front and 245/45Z/17 rear Fuzion tires that ride great and handle better than anything that you could have gotten new.

See? The same, but slightly different. This Camaro is a detailed, fun car to see the sights and be seen driving. There's a reason we can't keep these in stock, and this bright red one won't last long. Call today!
