Few cars are more closely identified with the good life than this 1979 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. Classically styled with an upright greenhouse and enough upper crust appeal to put Hostess back into the bread making business, there's just nothing like a Rolls-Royce, especially when it costs less than a used Toyota.
This lovely Silver Shadow presents in unusual and distinctive Light Ocean Blue. As a clean, original car, it appears to have never been wrecked or rusty, and you can see from the shine on the finish that all those dollars the original owner spent bought him some very impressive paint. All four doors open and close with a feeling that's impossible to describe beyond “precise” and obviously Rolls-Royce thought about the tactile sensations that their ultimate motorcar would deliver. All the trim, from the famous Rolls-Royce grille to the stainless and chrome, is in exceptional original condition, which should give you a good indication of how nicely preserved this car really is. It has obviously never seen inclement weather, and whenever it was stored, it was in a climate-controlled environment.

Description
Few cars are more closely identified with the good life than this 1979 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. Classically styled with an upright greenhouse and enough upper crust appeal to put Hostess back into the bread making business, there's just nothing like a Rolls-Royce, especially when it costs less than a used Toyota.
This lovely Silver Shadow presents in unusual and distinctive Light Ocean Blue. As a clean, original car, it appears to have never been wrecked or rusty, and you can see from the shine on the finish that all those dollars the original owner spent bought him some very impressive paint. All four doors open and close with a feeling that's impossible to describe beyond "precise" and obviously Rolls-Royce thought about the tactile sensations that their ultimate motorcar would deliver. All the trim, from the famous Rolls-Royce grille to the stainless and chrome, is in exceptional original condition, which should give you a good indication of how nicely preserved this car really is. It has obviously never seen inclement weather, and whenever it was stored, it was in a climate-controlled environment.
Inside, the beautiful blue leather upholstery is still supple and fragrant, and entering a Rolls-Royce is an experience to savor. The seats, door panels, and headliner appear original, and the plus Wilton wool carpets are so sinfully plush that you'll feel obligated to take your shoes off before climbing aboard. Individual front bucket seats are separated by a beautifully finished console and each has its own separate arm rest. The burled walnut dashboard shows some signs of age, and the gauges are beautifully printed Jaeger units specifically made for Rolls-Royce. More tactile engineering defines the interior, where the solid feeling of the heavy metal handles and knobs and the precision feel of every single component will simply delight you. In back, there's a commodious passenger compartment that is truly first class, right down to the carpeted foot rests. The original entertainment system is in place, augmented by a modern AM/FM/CD setup that has been very neatly integrated into the center stack.
Power comes from Rolls-Royce's familiar "six-and-three-quarter" liter V8 mated to a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission supplied to Rolls-Royce by none other than General Motors. Orderly and clean, the engine bay shows signs of regular use as well as regular maintenance, both critical to these cars' longevity. Recent service work ensures that it is in top mechanical condition, ready to go at a moment's notice. The brakes are powerful, and the sophisticated suspension rides like nothing you've ever experienced before. Recent whitewall radial tires have been installed on the original wheels with traditional Rolls-Royce wheel covers that have been painted to match the body.
This lovely Rolls-Royce represents the opportunity to pick up a fully sorted vehicle of distinction that will be a pleasure to drive for years to come, and only you will know what a bargain it really was. Call today!
