BASICALLY EVERYTHING BRAND NEW, A/C, DAYTONA YELLOW W/ YELLOW HOUNDSTOOTH

The best way to describe this 1969 Camaro in one sentence would be simply put as a brand new 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. The entire car has been meticulously picked through and either given new parts or been completely reworked. GM didn't make it easy to determine which cars are real SS models, but this one is a code X11 Norwood cars, which certainly adds some compelling evidence.

Finished in original code 76 Daytona Yellow with a black vinyl top, the combination looks spectacular on the crisply restored new sheetmetal. A functional cowl-induction hood remains, with air cleaner to match, and the dovetail spoiler out back finishes it off perfectly. Black stripes give it just the right balance of black and yellow from stem to stern, insuring that it will never go overlooked at a show or on the street. Quality is impressive, with panel alignment that's probably better than new, and a paint finish that is glossy and smooth. A black SS grille with RS headlights connect it to the car's overall theme, and it's matched by details such as the chrome wheel well moldings and drip rails, as well as the quarter panel “gill” inserts. It's safe to say that it's not an accident this car looks as good as it ... Please ask for the full description.

A black SS grille with RS headlights connect it to the car's overall theme, and it's matched by details such as the chrome wheel well moldings and drip rails, as well as the quarter panel "gill" inserts. It's safe to say that it's not an accident this car looks as good as it does.

Although it wasn't this car's original interior choice, nobody's going to suggest that the brand new black and yellow houndstooth isn't ideally suited to this car's mission. The seat covers are expertly installed, so there are no winkles, and it has only been driven about 700 miles since it was complete so everything is fresh. The door panels, carpets, and headliner are all new, while the gauges all appear original. The center console sports what might be the coolest shifter ever invented. Ahead of the console, four auxiliary gauges have been mounted much the way the factory did it but with better visibility. It's almost as if the guys building this car knew that there wasn't much they could do to improve the original design, and let the factory materials and styling speak for itself. Even the trunk is finished with a correct mat and full-sized spare tire.

Power comes from a 350 Chevy, just as you'd expect from an SS350. An Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and 4-barrel carburetor, an upgraded camshaft, along with a healthy dual exhaust system add a few horsepower and really make the hot small block cackle. It's been dressed in Chevy Orange with lots of chrome and billet, just for a little extra flash. A brand new A/C was added during the build, making this an all-season cruiser, and the detailing under the hood is quite impressive. Power disc brakes and power steering make easy and comfortable to drive, and the TH350 automatic spins a 10-bolt with highway 3.08 gears packed inside. The chassis is clean and rust-free, with none of the red flag issues you often find in early Camaros, so you can buy and drive this one with confidence. And as I mentioned earlier, 14-inch SS wheels wear 215/70/14 front and 245/60/14 rear BFGoodrich T/A radials.

In the same owner's hands since 1979 and coming off an expensive build 700 miles ago with receipts to prove it, this is a beautifully finished, striking Camaro that looks and drives right. Call today!
