Looking like it belongs in a ZZ Top music video with a cabin that looks like it's straight out of a fighter jet, this 1937 Buick Street Rod is hard to miss. Not only with it's amazing bright orange finish, but that big block underneath will certainly create an intimidating growl to turn any heads in its presence.

When you cover a car in bright orange paint like this, you better do it right. The finish on this '37 Buick looks great and absolutely glows under the lights. That paint lays on smooth body panels that have been modified with typical street rod enhancements such as shaved door handles, flush turn signals, flush tail lights and a windshield wiper delete. The front grill has been painted to match the gorgeous body and sits between two crystal clear headlights. The large fenders that flow into the wide running boards complete the street rod look. And it all sits on staggered chrome Torque Thrust wheels that are 17'' up front and 18'' in the rear.

Inside is where things get fun. Slide into the tan leather interior and you are faced with a slew of gauges and switches mounted in the dash that will have you feeling like you're preparing for lift off when you crank up the motor. A couple of those switches are for the power windows, there is the large tachometer, gauges for the water temperature, oil pressure, amperage...anything and everything you need to keep tabs on the motor. There are two bucket seats up front with some cargo room behind them that is lined with custom leather panels. Those buckets center a ratchet shifter in a center console that leads to the automatic transmission. The driver takes control with a GT Sport steering wheel that sits on a tilt column. And when you want to crank up the ZZ Top tunes, there is an AM/FM/CD head unit.

Under the bright orange bonnet is a large 468 cubic inch V8 that is force fed air via an 8-71 supercharger. Needless to say, this motor can produce more than enough power to keep things fun, and all of that power is fed through a 3-speed automatic transmission that twists a Dana posi-traction rear end. Underneath, things remain simple with an A-arm front suspension and leaf springs out back featuring power brakes. That big engine exhales through a dual exhaust system that creates a menacing growl. This car has the finesse where it counts and is ready to drive!
