Clean and sophisticated, this beautiful 1963 Impala hardtop is a popular cruiser that preserves all that is great about the early Impala and adds a few modern touches to create something you'll look forward to driving and showing this summer.
That dazzling paint job isn't some '60s monochrome, its 8-month-old Autumn Gold, which has a unique shine and depth that has to be seen to be appreciated, especially in the sun. On the vintage Chevy's curves, it looks especially good, as if it were waiting for someone to invent better paint to harmonize with the timeless styling. Bodywork is exemplary, with a great deal of time and money invested in getting the finished product into top-notch condition, so it looks awesome sitting still or on the move. All the correct Impala trim was restored to virtually new condition, including the long stainless trim along the body sides, and proper Impala emblems on the quarter panels. In contrast to all the black, red, and white Impalas out there, this one has a very sophisticated look, particularly with the white top, making this is a very eye-catching machine that will win fans wherever it goes.

Description
Continuing the theme, the unusual interior features woven fabric inserts on the seats for a dramatic combination that's as classic as the Impala itself. Done in correct patterns and using factory-style materials, it shows off impressive attention to detail and numerous factory touches. The dash has been painted to match, giving the original gauges a whole new look, especially when viewed through the spokes of the color-matched steering wheel. The upholstery was done a few years ago, but thanks to quality work and proper materials, it's holding up quite well and has a pleasant look that suggests comfortable accommodations. An AM/FM/cassette head unit powers speakers on the rear package shelf and a reproduction front floor mats adds a bit of protection for the carpets. The trunk is very clean and nicely finished with a reproduction mat set, full-sized spare tire, and a jack assembly.
Reliable power comes from a 283 cubic inch V8, which, of course, fits like it was born in the Impala's engine bay. It's not numbers-matching, but it looks right with bright Chevy Orange paint, stamped steel valve covers, and a big factory air cleaner on top. It uses stock exhaust manifolds to keep things quiet and cool when you're out cruising and there's plenty of torque on tap to get the big Impala rolling. Stock ram's horn exhaust manifolds feed a dual exhaust system with glasspack-style mufflers, so it has that bubbly V8 sound that you've admired at shows. The transmission is a 2-speed PowerGlide automatic, which feeds the original rear end. In fact, the entire undercarriage looks fairly original and is in remarkably good condition, suggesting a good life in a warm climate. The original steel wheels are included with the car, but it currently wears a set of shiny chrome mags with 235/60/15 white-letter radials.
There's a lot to like in this handsome Impala, and for fans of subtlety, the awesome color combination is very appealing. Call today!
