BEAUTIFUL CANDYAPPLE FINISH, 383 CID W/450HP, PROFESSIONALLY BUILT SHOW TRUCK!

This 1976 Chevrolet C10 pickup show truck bike hauler (Harley Davidson Motorcycle not included) is a frame-off Pro-Street-type build that was restored to an extremely high standard. For speed, it's got a stout 450 horsepower stroker motor, to hook it up is has some giant meats out back, and to look good, it has a stunning candyapple red paint job that'll make jaw drop. Oh, and it also includes civilized features like A/C and a handsome custom interior that makes it a pleasure to drive.

The paint job on this truck is stunning. Between the super-straight South Carolina sheetmetal and the hundreds of hours that went into the build, the finish is jaw-dropping. The candyapple red paint has a lot of pearl in it, and is so luscious that you think you'll get your fingers covered in it if you touch it. Combined with the big tires, it looks amazing on the stepside bed, giving this C10 a crouching, powerful stance. Note how evenly the doors and fenders line up, the immaculate reflections in the side panels, and the clarity of the clear coat, all of which mean that a sizeable chunk of change went into it ($10,000 or so, according to the documents that come with the truck). There's a steel ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

BEAUTIFUL CANDYAPPLE FINISH, 383 CID W/450HP, PROFESSIONALLY BUILT SHOW TRUCK!

This 1976 Chevrolet C10 pickup show truck bike hauler (Harley Davidson Motorcycle not included) is a frame-off Pro-Street-type build that was restored to an extremely high standard. For speed, it's got an estimated 450 horsepower stroker motor, to hook it up is has some giant meats out back, and to look good, it has a stunning candyapple red paint job that'll make jaw drop.

There's a steel cowl-induction hood to give it a bit of attitude, along with some neat airbrushed details like the Chevy emblem on the tailgate, and custom badges like the HARLEY-DAVIDSON block letters across the rear fenders. Add in a billet grille, chrome bumper, and a diamond-plate bed and you have a truck that gets all the little stuff exactly right.

The interior is clean and functional, with a custom-made seat cover that offers comfortable tweed fabric with burgundy leather inserts that match the candyapple red paint. Black carpets, door panels, and dashboard make it look substantial inside without being dark, and a wood-rimmed Grant GT steering wheel certainly warms things up. A tilt steering column was fitted underneath, along with a set of auxiliary gauges in the center to back up the factory dials. There's also a cleverly integrated Vintage Air A/C system that's quite effective, plus tinted glass and a sliding rear window for those days when it's just not quite hot enough for the A/C. An AM/FM/CD stereo system sounds great, although the soundtrack from the stroker motor up front is probably all the entertainment you'll need.

With 383 cubic inches and an estimated 450 horsepower on tap, the over-achieving small block probably needs every square inch of rubber out back. Topped by an Edlebrock intake manifold and 700 CFM 4-barrel, it has instantaneous throttle response and a fat torque curve thanks to ceramic-coated long-tube headers. A few chrome dress-up parts, Chevy Orange paint on the block, and a clean satin black engine bay makes it tidy and easy to maintain under the hood. Backed by a built TH350 3-speed automatic with a 2800 RPM stall torque converter and a narrowed Ford 9-inch with 4.10 gears, performance is astounding, yet it's also equally happy idling through the fairgrounds with the A/C cranking. The undercarriage shows off clean South Carolina living and the suspension is pretty stock, including leaf springs out back, so it rides and handles rather well. Weld aluminum wheels are the right choice on a Pro-Street vehicle and wear 225/75/15 front and 33x19.50-15 Mickey Thompson tires.

Once again, this is a vehicle with way more invested in the build than is reflected in the sticker price. Insanely fast and beautifully finished, this truck delivers on the promises its looks make. Call today!
