There are cars we enjoy looking at because of unique, custom looks or wild lines and sporty edges. Then there are cars like this 1954 Buick Century Riviera that we love to look at because it takes us back to simpler times. Featured in its correct Condor Yellow and Artic White finish, taking a trip in this Buick is like taking a trip back to the 50s!
One of the most enjoyable things about this car is the 20B Condor Yellow and Artic White paint job. The colors work well together and are pleasing to the eyes. The paint lays nicely on the smooth panels that show even gaps all around. Breaking up the two colors is beautiful brightwork down the sides of the car, topped by the signature portal vents. That big chrome bumper is topped by a massive, shiny grill. This car just screams American culture! What really sets the overall look is those cool body matched wheels with chrome center caps, wrapped by large whitewall tires.
Inside is an elegant green and white interior. The vinyl bench seat is firm and features tight vinyl that provides a comfortable atmosphere. That classy white dash is highlighted with stainless trim and appears to be in like new condition. For an extra convenience, an AM/FM/CD player has been installed. The interior appears to be fresh with tight door panels, and the rear bench seat looks like it has never had any seat time. Extra comforts and conveniences include power steering, heat and defrost. All windows, locks and handles operate as they should to create a cruiser that is ready for long hauls.
Under the hood is an era-correct 322 cubic inch V8 that creates roughly 255 horsepower that are transferred to an automatic transmission. Under the hood and underneath the vehicle, everything appears to remain stock to factory specifications. However, a dual exhaust system with glasspack mufflers has been added to produce a fun and throaty exhaust note. There aren't any polished or powder coated finishes on the underside, but this car was meant to be enjoyed. There is no need to worry about a splash of a mud puddle getting your oil pan dirty. The hardware on this car will provide many more years of smiles with its new owner!
Looking like it popped straight out of a print depicting the 50s drive-in lifestyle, this 1954 Buick Century Riviera is a reminder of how cool things were. It's the epitome of the saying, "They don't build'em like this anymore." Hop in, crank it up and take this smooth driving chassis on the open road...you won't be upset! Call today!
