The Corvette is piece of American automotive culture that inspires songs and is glorified in movies. This Top Flight NCRS, 1962 Chevrolet Corvette, is a wonderful representation as to why that is, with handsome looks, finished in a brilliant red and black color combination. This may be your next car if you want to get behind the wheel of an iconic automobile.
This car came from the factory in a vivid coat of Roman Red, and probably after a fresh respray that red paint looks as new today as it did 52 years ago. It lays flat on the fiberglass panels and presents a glowing shine under our showroom lights. The flowing lines of this car are simply art and even give clues as to what was to come with the redesigned Sting Ray model the following year. The badges shine nicely all around the car, and the chrome bumpers up front and out back look very good. Lift the convertible top and that white vinyl looks great! With bright hubcaps centered in whitewall tires, you can deny the incredible good looks this car has all over.

Description
Inside is a black vinyl interior that is probably the best complement for the bright red paint. The bucket seats are covered in new, pleated vinyl. In front of the driver is an attractive three spoke steering wheel that is fun to look at and a pleasure to hold. Sitting in the driver's seat and having that gear selector within easy reach creates a smile, even when the car is sitting still. Crystal clear gauges stare back at you with necessary engine information beneath a very cool speedometer. In the center of that cool waterfall dash is an AM radio, and the passenger has a great view of that appealing deep, 'Corvette' branded cowl that is fronted by a grab handle. It's a small, but comfortable, cabin that looks new and is very cozy for you and your favorite passenger.
This numbers matching Corvette still carries its strong 327 cubic inch V8 that fires up with ease and produces a great exhaust note. With a 'FI229RE' suffix code, it's confirmed this is a real-deal 327/340 hp with 4-speed manual car, making it a rare engine/transmission combo with less than 4,500 produced. The engine was built about 1000 miles ago, so you can be sure it's got plenty of life left in it. Speaking of plenty of life being left, there was nearly $7,000 of work done in refreshing the suspension, brakes, and miscellaneous components underneath, to provide precise confident driving. The undercarriage looks very clean and the 4-speed manual transmission sends the 327's power to a posi-traction rear end.
This 1962 Corvette not only has the opportunity to provide you with a lot of fun, but cars like this have also proven to be a great financial investment, and we are seeing a steep incline in demand. This is car presents the discerning enthusiast with a chance to own a great iconic automobile. Call today!
