What can we say about this 1951 Ford F-1? It's just plain cool! When you're at a cruise-in that is a sea of tri-five Chevys, Mustangs, and Corvettes...it's a breath of fresh air to see something like this big pick-up drive through.
Obviously, the first noticeable feature of this truck is that slick vivid turquoise paint job. It brings a great element to the overall coolness factor of this truck and falls in line with the colors we love on 50's era classics. The chrome hood inserts and front badge are a nice contrast, and is just the right amount of bright work. Up front is a Camaro style front end that hosts two headlights topped by cool eyelids. Walk past the large running boards with black inserts and towards the back of the vehicle, you'll be greeted by a nice wood inlayed bed that is a classic touch. Overall, the exterior of this truck is super clean. With the vent windows removed it has a great look.

Things didn't exactly remain stock inside either, but it's certainly appreciated how it was built. The comfortable leather bucket seats flank a convenient center console while the driver is welcomed to a cool Grant GT steering wheel that sits on a tilt column. Both passengers have easy access to power window switches. Thoughtfully installed in the center of the body matched dash is an AM/FM/CD head unit. The dash is simple, but fun to look at with the swooping chrome trim lining it with switches for the Vintage Air, heat, and A/C unit. Keeping tabs on the engine are a slew of Auto Meter gauges. This cabin was built for comfort and proves this truck is ready to be enjoyed.
Lift that large hood and staring back at you is a well dressed 350 cubic inch V8. The chrome dress up kit makes this engine bay a pleasure to look at, especially with the painted firewall and fenders cradling that great sounding engine. Handling the shifting duties is a TH350 automatic transmission that sends power to a Ford 9 inch rear end. The undercarriage appears very clean. This truck did undergo a frame-off restoration about 10 years and has seen less than 8k miles since, so the hardware carrying this Ford still remains fresh. There is power steering to handle the turning and power brakes with discs up front help bring this big, bright truck to a stop.
