The Volkswagen Beetle, without a doubt, has got to be one of the most popular cars for collectors and hobbyists. It has a fan base that is just as devout as the followers of brands like Harley Davidson and the Corvette. If you're one of those enthusiasts that have a deep love for "The People's Car", then this 1966 VW Beetle may be the perfect car for you.

This Beetle is finished in a smooth, teal blue paint job that fits right in with the curves of the car. It's a classic look that captures what the fun of owning a Beetle is all about. The teal blue paint is highlighted by chrome bumpers at the front and rear, and bright trim throughout. There are even chrome rain shields above the windows. Beetles, like all other cars that have a strong following, can be found in many forms of builds from factory correct to extremely wild. On the outside, this one remains as it was built in '66 and certainly has a clean and solid shell. Overall, it presents a fun and classic look that sits on bright hubcaps.

Inside is a simple, tan interior that is covered in clean vinyl. The front bucket seats and rear bench have a stylish design with cloth inserts that appear to be custom, looking like they came out of a 50s era luxury car. Those seats sit on tan carpet that covers the solid floors from front to back. There are other custom touches inside such as the door handles and window cranks, wooden EMPI shift knob, and 3 spoke wood steering wheel. Mounted in the dash is an AM/FM/CD head unit. Of course on a Beetle, the trunk is located up front and when you lift the front hatch there is a jack and full size spare included.

Powering this nice little 'bug' is an air-cooled 1500 cc flat 4 cylinder that provides an adequate 53 horsepower. That little engine is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and it exhales exhaust gasses through a factory exhaust system that produces that distinctive VW sound. Beetles are known for being extremely simple and easy to work on, and that's how things remain underneath. In fact, an engine could be removed in about a half hour. There are no frills or fancy bits underneath, just a driver-friendly chassis that is ready to continue adding on some miles with its new owner.

This '66 Beetle is a solid car that would make the perfect companion for an entry level enthusiast or seasoned gear head. Buy it today and you're ready to immediately start enjoying it with friends and family. Call today!
