RARE LUXURY, MATCHING #'S, RESOTRED TO ORIGINAL AND COMPLETE, 4 SPD, 4.6L, NICE!

If you're looking for rare, classic luxury, then have a look at this 1952 Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn. The Silver Dawn was the first Rolls-Royce built using a standard all-steel body, instead of being coach built. Fewer than 800 of these cars were produced, and far less are in the kind of condition as the one you see here.

This Crewe-built Rolls Royce has a presence that seeps class and luxury. Stepping up close to this car, you can tell you're in the company of something special. That long body is covered in a smooth, glossy black coat that shows deep reflections. The swooping fenders blanket great looking white wall tires with stylish hub caps. Up front is a large grill that is capped by the famous "Spirit of Ecstasy" hood ornament that still looks great. Chrome bumpers sit at the front and rear of the car and accent the black paint very well. Up top there is a sunroof that will manually slide back. Walking around the car it's hard to find any major flaws, the paint looks very good from all angles.

Open the front suicide doors and inside is a tan leather interior that has been refreshed with new, original Rolls-Royce leather, and new Rolls-Royce Carpet. Owners of cars of this caliber were ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

Owners of cars of this caliber were usually being chauffeured, so the rear seat is surrounded by little features such as personal ash trays for each passenger, a cocktail tray that folds out for each passenger, a side mounted vanity mirror for each passenger, a rear cigarette lighter, and a chauffeur-operated privacy screen that covers the rear window. There is also an umbrella included, that like a lot of the accessories with this car, appears to be an original factory-issued item. Being a Rolls-Royce, you can count on the dash being made from real wood grain. There isn't any faux appliqué here. That dash houses a factory AM radio and factory instrumentation with the only additions being a small tachometer and volt meter mounted by the driver's left knee. This is a rare left-hand-drive model which features a column mounted shifter and the steering wheel contains a throttle control, and ride control.

Power for this classic luxury automobile comes from the original, numbers matching 4.6L inline six cylinder that measures exactly 4,566cc. Power is transferred through a column-shifted 4-speed manual transmission. Put this Rolls on a lift and you'll discover a chassis that certainly had a lot of engineering put into it for its time. But you can be sure that it's a chassis that will still provide a smooth and dignified ride today. Should you ever need to do some minor work on this car yourself, the mostly complete original tool kit, flash light, owner's manual, and air pump are included with the sale.

Do a quick search online and see how many other Silver Dawns there are available for sale. To find one in as good condition as this 1952 Silver Dawn is going to be a tough feat. There aren't many at all available for sale, this is a rare opportunity to take home classic luxury. Call today!
