Pontiac GTOs are a hot commodity in the classic car market. They're credited for starting the muscle car movement, and have acquired a mass amount of followers over the years. So when a car like this 1967 Pontiac GTO comes through our doors, it's usually not too long before paper work is being filled and the title is exchanging hands.
Leaving the Baltimore, Maryland manufacturing facility in a coat of Signet Gold, this GTO has been resprayed in its factory correct color, and it looks great. The gold paint lays smoothly on the sheetmetal and it's hard to find any significant flaws. Also, correct to the car is the Starlight Black top. Today that top looks factory fresh with a soft luster creating a very pleasant contrast to the gold body. Up front, you'll find a familiar hood scoop, with a hood mounted tachometer, and hood pins keeping things secure. The chrome bumpers are clean with bright reflections and all of the trim is present. Rounding things out with some GM authenticity are 'T3' headlights and correct parking lamps.
Slip inside to a clean and tear free code 223 black vinyl interior. Bucket seats up front and a bench in the rear are covered in taut vinyl that appear factory fresh ... Please ask for the full description.

Description
Bucket seats up front and a bench in the rear are covered in taut vinyl that appear factory fresh with very little use. Between the front buckets is a full length center console that features a storage compartment and a shifter for the manual transmission. That console and instrument cluster is highlighted with a great looking wood appliqué that provides a nice contrast against the black trim. The inside remains stock with factory instrumentation and an AM/FM/cassette player. The only additions are the 'GTO' branded rubber floor mats that will keep the black carpet looking good. Topped off with a 3-spoke wood grain steering wheel, this is a nice cabin to spend time in.
Pull the pins and lift the hood to reveal a 400 cubic inch Pontiac V8. It's been upgraded with a chrome air cleaner, chrome valve covers, a mild performance cam, Holley carburetor, Edelbrock intake manifold, Accel plug wires, and an MSD distributer. Overall it's a clean engine bay and you won't be ashamed to lift the hood at your local cruise-in or show. Power from that Poncho V8 travels to a durable 4-speed manual transmission with exhaust gasses exiting out a throaty sounding dual exhaust system. Power steering makes driving this "Goat" a breeze, and 215/70/15 front and 235/70/15 rear tires put the power down to the pavement.
With PHS documentation and a copy of the window sticker and dealer invoice, Pontiac enthusiasts will be focusing a lot of attention on this car. Judging from past GTO sales, we don't expect this one to last long under our showroom lights. Call today!
