This 2005 Ford GT is a very low mileage example of a what has become not only one of the most sought after sports cars of all time, but quite possibly the most sought after collector car as well.
With only 645 miles on the clock(yes you read that right) this Ford GT has been finished in white with blue stripes. Those bright panels show crisp reflections and a smooth gloss. It's practically showroom new and has certainly seen more indoor storage time than sunny day road use. It's hard to imagine that even a drop of rain has landed on the sleek surface. The lines of this car are exotic from any angle you look at it. It's the perfect blend for the enthusiast that appreciates brutal American muscle, but prefers exotic European styling. Every scoop, vent, and louver on the body panels is functional for either brake cooling, engine cooling, or aerodynamics. Being a mostly hand-assembled halo vehicle for Ford, panel gaps even and fitment is precise. You probably know that inspiration for this car came from the GT40 racing cars that Henry Ford commissioned to have built to not only compete with, but BEAT the Ferrari's that were dominating the Le Mans racing circuit in the early 1960s. The timeless ... Please ask for the full description.

Description
What you see here is a very rare and unique opportunity to purchase one of the greatest American sports/super cars of all time. In fact, the demand is so high on these Ford GTs that they have never been worth less than the $157K MSRP, making them possibly the only car in history that has appreciated in value every year since being sold new. This 2005 Ford GT, originally purchased from Dale Jarrett Ford, is a very low mileage example of a what has become not only one of the most sought after sports cars of all time, but quite possibly the most sought after collector car as well. This vehicle has also been recognized as one of the 50 greatest supercars of all time!
The timeless design of those GT40s have been updated and represented very well in the Ford GT production car. This is a car that will have a demanding presence whether it's stashed away in your collection or prowling your local hot spots.
Inside is a cockpit that continues with styling inspired from the GT40 race cars. Slide into the perforated leather buckets sets and you're faced with a dashboard that looks like it would be right at home in a fighter jet. A host of instrument gauges surround the driver with a large tachometer front and center behind the 3-spoke steering wheel. Cool looking toggle switches that control the lights, hazards, and rear defrost, while air conditioning controls are located in the center console. It's a 'to the point' interior, but still provides basic luxuries and comforts including the optional McIntosh AM/FM/CD stereo system with 5 speakers. It's certainly a cockpit that will ensure you are operating something very special every time you choose to hunker down in it. You won't find any plush carpeting or fancy stitched floor mats in this one, it means business and the inspiration to be a street going race car is evident.
While you're sitting in that cockpit, take a look behind you and you'll see an incredible view and the highlight of this Ford supercar. Peeking in the rear window is a supercharged 5.4L V8 that is capable of 550 horsepower and 500 lb/ft of torque! That's enough power to propel this slippery body to 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds, and to an electronically limited top speed of 205 mph! That powerful V8 is mated to a manual 6-speed Ricardo transmission fitted with a limited-slip differential. As you glance inside that exotic engine bay, you'll noticed the coil over shocks mounted to the super-plastic formed aluminum frame that keeps the 235/45/18 front and 315/40/19 rear Goodyear Eagle F1 tires planted to the track or the road. Large, power Brembo disc brakes with 4-piston calipers keep things in check, while power steering tosses the nimble chassis around each corner with precise handling.
If you're a numbers person, only a few thousand of these cars were produced between two years. Breaking it down by color, just a little more than a few hundred were produced in this color combination between both years. Factor in the handful of cars that saw further modifications and/or unfortunate endings due to the car's powerful nature, the chances of finding a factory fresh specimen with low miles is becoming more and more rare. The future is bright for the Ford GT and we're excited to see where it goes. Store it away in your collection and watch your investment grow, or enjoy it on the track...either way you'll be pleased with this incredible machine.
