The car underwent a restoration in 2003, however, the workmanship is so good and the materials are accurate that it definitely passes for a well-maintained original. The seats are firm and comfortable, with no splits or tears in the covers, and the matching carpets are excellent. A two-tier dashboard puts the speedometer and AM radio up high where they're easy to see, while the auxiliary and air conditioning controls are in their own pod just below. But for the sake of preserving the factory dash, an AM/FM radio and three Sunpro gauges measuring oil pressure, voltage, and water temperature have been mounted below.

Power comes from a 289 cubic inch V8, which powers the relatively lightweight Galaxie with ease. Dressed in Ford Blue with a black block and heads, it looks very period appropriate. It runs beautifully, typically firing up with a single turn of the key and idling with a smooth hum that fits the cars luxury/performance mission perfectly. Note the power steering and power brakes, which make this car a pleasure to drive, as well as the 3-speed automatic transmission which clicks through the gears cleanly.
