When it's accented with painted black stripes like this Camaro, it's hard to argue that this car doesn't look great! Silver is one of those colors that is always a safe bet. It cleans up well, doesn't show the annoying scratches that come with the time of ownership, and on the right car it looks great. When it's accented with painted black stripes like this Camaro, it's hard to argue that this car doesn't look great! The clear coat shows sharp reflections on sheet metal that proudly displays flat surfaces. The SS fascia with SS badging produces a look that will never go out of style, and when paired with '427' badges on the front fenders, you're sure to believe this isn't a car you want to be challenging at any stop lights. A cowl hood and rear deck spoiler are the perfect complement to the car's attitude, while 15'' rally wheels maintain the vintage vibe.
A highly appealing and highly desirable houndstooth interior is what you'll find when you open the doors. The front buckets and rear bench show very little wear and a taut headliner wraps the cabin. Everything is in familiar Camaro fashion with the only update coming from the Pioneer AM/FM/CD player. The door panels, carpet, and dash remain in good condition, with a simple wood appliqué adding a nice contrast to the dash. Topping things off, and always adding a nice touch of class while doing so, is the 3-spoke wood grain steering wheel.
Under the hood is where things get interesting. Nestled between the silver fenders is a 427 cubic inch V8 that is well dressed and certainly ready to impress. The modification list for this one is huge, but you can count on that big block being completely sorted and built. A 850 Quick Fuel carburetor sends air and fuel to an Edelbrock Air Gap intake, and after that mixture is squeezed, spent gasses travel through Hedman headers and out a ferocious sounding dual exhaust system. Mated to the big block is a 4-speed Muncie that sends power to a posi-traction 12-bolt rear. There is a host of new hardware like the flywheel, clutch, floorpans, rear end, and mult-leaf springs. Finished with power disc brakes at all four corners, and power steering, this first gen. Camaro is a joy of driving this machine.
When you tally up what this Camaro has to offer, you can't deny it's one bad machine. The outside doesn't say much, but when you turn the ignition over and fire the big block to life you're instantly in a reality of what muscle car dreams are made of. Call today!
