CLEAN, 289 V8, 4 SPEED, FRESH PAINT, NEWER INTERIOR, CLASSIC STANG!!

There's no denying it, early Ford Mustangs are one iconic automobile. And with all the resto-mods and custom cars running around, sometimes it's refreshing to see a clean and honest early Mustang. This lovely 1965 Ford Mustang coupe features a slick look and a sweet-running 289, which is paired to a 4-speed manual... It doesn't get much better than that.

While red, yellow, and even green can catch the eyes of other drivers due to their boldness, this Gunmetal Gray will catch everyone's eye due to its sleek, timeless look. The fresh paint also features black painted stripes that only add to the overall look of the car. This coupe doesn't need scoops or wings to stand out. Instead this car embodies what the famous Mustang looks like and what brought it to its iconic status. The quarters are straight and clean, the doors fit well, and details stand out against the shiny paint. Check out the sharp crease that frames the side cove, the chrome insert, and the beautifully finished chrome bumpers that shine. This almost 50 year old car is clean, sleek, and great for your weekend road trips. Just be prepared for the heads turning in your direction.

The Mustang's interior always looks great in ... Please ask for the full description.

The Mustang's interior always looks great in any form, but this new black vinyl upholstery looks extremely dressy when combined with Gunmetal Gray paint. The interior is quite nice, showing very little wear and offering all the charm that made Mustangs famous. It starts with the black buckets inside that have been wrapped in new seat covers. Also new in the vehicle is the dash pad and a gorgeous headliner. All the gauges appear to be original, so put your hands on the three spoke steering wheel and you'll feel right at home. Open the trunk and you'll find a trunk mat with the plaid pattern, and a full size spare tire also covered.

Under the hood is nestled a 289 cubic inch V8, and while we know that "numbers matching" is next to impossible with the early Mustangs, we were able to find a casting number behind the starter. The D10E-6015-AA casting designates that this 289 was lifted from a 1971 Fairlane or Torino. Although it is not original with the coupe, you would never guess it, as it fits beautifully in the matte black engine bay and has been dressed up with aluminum finned valve covers. The V8 coupled with the 4-speed manual transmission means this pairing will encourage you to have fun and get out on the road. 14" classic magnum 500 wheels, show that this car fits into this decade just as well as it did on the road back in 1965.

The clock is ticking, so hurry to grab this slick 1965 Mustang Coupe before it's gone and capture your own piece of Ford pony history that is alive and well today. The road is waiting!
