There's no denying it, the Volkswagen Beetle has one of the greatest followings today of any classic car. And when you look at cars like this '69 Volkswagen, its hard to argue with them. This nicely finished 1969 Beetle isn't wildly modified, but has enough special touches to make it stand out in the crowd without altering its basic character.
Shiny deep blue paint looks great on the trademark Beetle curves and it really shows off the chrome detailing. We have seen a continued rise in interest in early VW's. Clearly someone spent some time ensuring that the body was well taken care of. If you are a true fan of the VW Beetles you won't be disappointed as the classic lines of this 2 -door coupe are beautiful. There's a single pinstripe running the length of the body that dresses it up, and the chrome appears to be excellent and original. At the base of the doors you'll find grey running boards that give the vehicle an upgraded feel. There's also a charming luggage rack that's a desirable period accessory that really gives the Bug some personality along with functionality. This fun car is ready to roll and will surely add a little flare of style to your weekend trip.

There's no denying it, the Volkswagen Beetle has one of the greatest followings today of any classic car. And when you look at cars like this '69 Volkswagen, its hard to argue with them. This slick Bug looks awesome inside too, with a dark black vinyl upholstery and all of the simple charm intact. Flip the front seats forward and you'll expose the low-back seats that show little to no wear. The door panels, that feature the built-in map pockets, are nicely finished and the black carpets appear to be near new. In the center of the instrument panel, that is painted to match the exterior, is the signature VW single gauge. The simple single gauge offers speed and fuel level, but precious little else, but these little cars tend to be so reliable that keeping a constant eye on them isn't really necessary. There is, however, an upgraded AM/FM stereo system that includes a hookup for your iPhone/iPod. The front luggage compartment is trimmed to match and continues the restored theme.
Powering this nice little 'bug' is an air-cooled 1500 cc flat 4 cylinder that provides a great sound and adequate 53 horsepower. Pulled from a '67 beetle, the little engine is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and it exhales exhaust gasses through what appears to be a factory style exhaust system producing that distinctive VW sound. Beetles are known for being extremely simple and easy to work on, and that's how things remain underneath. In fact, an engine can be removed in about a half hour. There are no frills or fancy bits underneath, just an extremely clean chassis that is ready to continue adding on some miles with its new owner. Stopping power comes courtesy of 4-wheel drum brakes, and in front of those brakes you'll find 15" steel rims that still hold the chrome VW branded hubcaps.
To this day, the Beetle is still an affordable classic car that you don't have to feel guilty about taking out on the open road. However, one this nice won't last long under our showroom lights. Call today!
