We cant seem to keep cars like this in our showroom lately! Take a look at this incredible 1969 Mustang Mach 1 tribute. Under the hood you'll find a solid 351, the legendary mach 1 look, all wrapped up in a very nicely done, fresh restoration. That makes this Mustang fastback a screaming bargain.
Acapulco Blue is one of those colors that everyone can agree looks incredible on a classic Ford pony car. But put it on a Mach 1, and things get very interesting indeed. It's easy to explain the crowds that this car routinely attracts at shows, this car sparkles in the sunlight and looks predatory at night. Either way, the Mach 1 is one of Ford's better ideas, successfully giving the Mustang the aggressive look and attitude that it had been craving from the beginning, and the final product on this one is nothing short of stunning. A blacked-out hood with scoop, a deep chin spoiler, 351 badging, rear-window slats, and a matching wing on the rear deck all give the sportsroof a very performance-oriented attitude. But the car's also subtle, with little more than a gold stripe running along its flanks, and a blacked-out tail panel to advertise that this is something truly special. A few bright chrome pieces that have been nicely refinished, and you end up with arguably one of the best-looking Mustangs of all time.
Originally leaving the factory with a blue vinyl interior, someone along the way opted to replace it with the classic looks of black. The results are stunning. Handsome bucket seats are firm and supportive for long drives and accented by small red vinyl strips as well. Matching door panels and rear bucket seats offer a very finished look, and a convenient center console offers a place to hold a couple of beverages as well as stow other items in a large storage bin. With features like a power steering, AM/FM/8-track and even air conditioning, this interior is a fantastic place to log miles from.
Under the hood is a powerful 351 Windsor block that has been dressed and updated with all of the right goodies. The Ford Blue V8 looks fantastic under the hood, decorated with Cobra air filter and valve covers. The engine bay is clean, crisp and generates all the right eight cylinder sounds when it roars to life. Bolted to the beast of an engine is a 3-speed automatic transmission. Power is supplied to the pavement thanks to like new Magnum 500 15" rims that have been wrapped in 225/70R15 rubber. Stopping power comes courtesy of front power disc brakes. Everything points to the fact that this car will remain a blast to drive for years to come.
It doesn't get much better than a '69 Mustang. And this Mach 1 tribute is an perfect way to enjoy classic good looks with muscular attitude. It's the reason this hobby is fun. You'll certainly be impressing onlookers with this well sorted classic at the cruise-in. Call today!
