If you are in the market for a classic Chevy truck, but want the amenities that we've come to expect with a modern vehicle, then your search very well could be over. This 1982 Chevrolet Silverado has a killer look and left the factory as a very highly optioned truck for '82. Don't believe us, take a closer look for yourself.
As useful and practical as these early 80's pickups were, its tough to find one in as good as shape as this Silverado is. Most were used, abused, and disregarded in '87 when the next generation of pickups was unveiled. However, this '82 Silverado was spared and clearly had a previous owner who cherished their ride. Pop open the doors and you'll find a gray vinyl and cloth bench seat that is in great condition. In front of the driver is a 2-spoke steering wheel that sits on a new brushed aluminum gauge bezel. The door panels got the same two-tone treatment, and a black dash pad continues to accentuate the truck's slick color combination. For an '82 model, this pickup left the factory very highly optioned. With amenities like factory air, power steering, power disc brakes, an AM/FM/CD player, and even power windows, this pickup's cabin is more than ready for events to show off this increasingly desirable truck.
With the amount of trucks we see roll through the showroom with any old 350 slammed under the hood, it's extremely refreshing to find one with a period correct 305 still intact. The engine bay itself is extremely clean, and there are signs of excellent maintenance throughout. The air conditioning and fluid lines were cleanly integrated throughout the engine bay, while a red top optima battery provides reliable startups. The suspension appears to be 100% stock, so you don't have to worry about a bone-jarring ride from lowering springs, and carrying capacity is unaffected. Bolted to the bright blue block is a rugged automatic transmission that sends power to the ground through 15" Chevrolet branded rims that have been wrapped in Fuzion rubber.
Very rarely do we come across trucks as well preserved as this '82 Silverado. It's classic, functional, and is extremely well done. A fantastic show and go truck that's very reasonably priced. Call now!
