Few cars are as popular and sought after as the Chevy Chevelle. Cars like this 1969 SS396 are consistently in demand by collectors and guys who just like muscle, and with a stout big block under the hood, this car definitely delivers.
For many Chevrolet Enthusiasts, the 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS lines tops the cake when it comes to muscle cars. It's hard to argue with that thinking when you look at this example covered in beautiful Garnet Red paint. Free of any flashy hood stripes, the paint is only accented by the black vinyl top, and a pair of simple black racing stripes that travel the length of the car. The chrome on the front and rear bumpers has clearly been polished and maintained as it glistens against the bold red of the car. The black top ties in perfectly with the black pin stripes, and shows off the subtle curve of the rear fenders creating the beautiful eye catching shape that the 2 door coupe is known for. This is one classic that is ready to hit the streets and show everyone that although pretty on the outside, it is mean and tough under the hood.

Comfy Bucket seats flanking a center console is how everyone wants their Chevelle configured, and the replacement seat covers allow for a stock appearing interior that is clean and ready for someone new to take a spin. The red upholstery is in excellent shape, replicating the factory look, right down to the nicely detailed door panels. The carpets enhance the plush feel inside and an AM/FM stereo with cassette player allows for a relaxing ride. Factory gauges in the dash, and the horseshoe shifter for the 3-speed automatic transmission is still one of the best way to select gears. The trunk appears to be outfitted with a correct mat as well as a full-sized spare tire and wheel assembly. The inside looks just as great as the outside, which means this car is ready for the local car shows and is begging to be shown off.
Underneath the hood you'll find a fully detailed 396 cubic inch V8, that decodes as a 1968 396/325hp V8. Correct Chevy orange paint, chrome air cleaner and valve covers with reproduction decals, and all the little stuff that separates the nice cars from the great ones, is what you'll find in this engine bay. Bolted to the powerful big block is a 3-speed automatic, that is ready for highway cruising. Chevy SS Magnum 500 style wheels appear to be new, and look spectacular, especially with meaty 225/70/14 BFGoodrich T/A radials on them. And with niceties like power steering, air conditioning, and front power disc brakes, this is a Chevelle that you just can't go wrong with.
Great looks, lots of performance, and even a modicum of comfort for long cruises thanks to the A/C system, this is truly the kind of collector car that can do it all. Call today!
