Hailing from an owner of over 30 years, this 'Vette features a wonderful color combination and strong powertrain, making it an absolutely joy to own and drive.
Red; the classic color of a sports car. It grabs everyone's attention and for all the right reasons. The beautiful red on this Corvette makes the iconic white coves stand out along with the chrome detailing. Together, the red and the white make for one of the boldest but yet elegant of the Corvette color combinations. Obviously, this car has been babied over the decades and all the stainless and chrome trim appears in terrific shape. From the 9-teeth front grille, to the intricate rear bumpers, all the bright work shows off the great curves of this convertible. The removable hardtop is in great shape and makes this car ready for everyday.
Bright red upholstery is a natural choice to complement the red exterior, as the look is as timeless as the Corvette itself. The buckets weren't very elaborate in '59, but fortunately seat belts were included, which surely helped keep drivers in place during spirited driving. Plush carpets and slick door panels give the interior a highly polished look. The instruments, including the tachometer right in front of the driver, add the charm expected in making this American sports car stand out. The interior appears to be mostly the way it left the factory except for the inclusion of an AM/FM radio with Cassette player, and a ball shifter has replaced the t-handle shifter.
Tilt forward the long red hood and you'll find a 283 cubic inch V8 that provides authentic-feeling power. Up top a 4-barrel carburetor provides great mid-range punch that makes this car feel years younger than it is. Correct details abound, from the Corvette valve covers, and even an original ignition shield, ensures you won't be disappointed when you raise the hood. Bolted to the small block is A 4-speed manual transmission that feeds power to the rear end. It's quite original underneath and shows evidence of all those years of being loved, and the 6.70-15 whitewall tires on original appearing hubcaps gives it a period-correct no-nonsense look.
Beautifully finished and exhilarating to drive, this '59 is special for a lot of reasons, and you Corvette fans know exactly what I'm talking about. Call today!
