It seems like everyday here at Streetside classics we are seeing more and more Fox-body mustangs roll in and out of our showroom. The collect-ability and value of this beloved generation of Mustang has really started to explode. Auction results over the past few years have certainly also shown that trend. In 1985, Ford mixed a face-lifted nose with the hottest 5.0 yet, and made it so affordable that it was the biggest performance bargain in more than two decades. Covered in a gorgeous shade of Burgundy, this GT has an incredible intimidating look, but has the power under the hood to back it up. Gone is the original hood, but it has been replaced with a 3" cowl induction piece that adds to the overall appeal of the car. The black belt line that circle the body are in excellent condition, and all the correct GT emblems are present on the quarters. At the back you'll find a spoiler and chrome-tipped dual exhaust to tie the car into a nice little bow. Overall the exterior is in great shape and is ready for the street or strip.

Inside you'll find the rare and sought after cloth interior option that makes this a great place to log miles from. The ultra-supportive buckets feature grippy fabric inserts that flank a middle console. There's no notable wear, even on the side bolsters, and what appear to be the original carpeting doesn't tell you much about the cars age either. In front of the driver, you'll find a wood grained three-spoke steering wheel that features the historic Mustang logo. The dash gauges are fully functional, and on the A-pillar you'll notice the addition of auxiliary gauges to keep even more tabs on the Ford engine. In front of the shifter you'll find the upgraded AM/FM/CD Player to belt out your favorite tunes. With power steering and power brakes, this is a car that you won't want to get out of. The rear hatch area is covered in the same carpet and features plenty of room for all of your awards from the local car show.

Prop the hood up, and you'll reveal an extremely detailed engine bay that houses a 331 stroker motor. Dressed for show, and ready to go, the engine features an Holley aluminum heads, Lunati cam, Weiand intake, a Holley 650 carb, and an aluminum radiator. Covered in chrome pretty much everywhere you look, this is one of the nicest fox-body engine bays we have ever seen. There's no hints of age anywhere, and a yellow-top Optima battery provides reliable startups. Bolted to the engine is a 3-speed automatic equipped with a 2400 stall converter. Power is supplied to the ground thanks to 17" Saleen rims that have been wrapped in Nexen rubber.
