350 V8, 387 RWHP, AUTO, PWR STEERING, RECENT RESTORATION, VERY NICE!!

Triple black is a triple threat for this Impala. This 1963 Super Sport has got a mean look, aggressive muscle, and the right chrome to be the perfect classic cruiser.

Impala coupes are highly collectable because the wide chrome grille up front, and the broad six taillight arrangement are both icons of the 60s. These cars are not as chrome heavy as other full-size coupes that had come before them, which makes each piece of brightwork an appreciated styling touch. It's especially true on this car where the chrome bumpers and SS badging are nice standouts against the deep black paintwork. In fact, this coupe does double dark duty with the optional black vinyl roof. The final piece to catch the eye is a set of 15-inch Rally wheels – a hallmark to a true SS.

Impalas are great coupes to collect because they have the cool pillar-less hardtop style that make them an instant classic, and at the same time, these full-size Chevys comfortably fit plenty of friends. There are two important components that make the SS package on the 1963 Impala. They must have the machined aluminum on the dash panel, and the bucket seats show a stylized button pattern. Real Impala SS enthusiasts will also be ... Please ask for the full description.

Real Impala SS enthusiasts will also be glad to see the proper sport badge on this car's horn button. In fact, this car has a lot of original pieces, from the black vinyl seats, to the heater/defrost, to the optional tachometer. You even get the original owner's manual! There are a few helpful upgrades such as a full aftermarket gauge package nicely mounted in a chrome frame below the dash. The feeling of a hardtop coupe is a wonderful thing. You can roll down all the windows, which gives you that big open space without a b-pillar. It's a place where the wind flows through your hair like a convertible, and in a big muscle car like this, the dual exhaust gets to be your best soundtrack.

Underneath the hood is a 350 cubic-inch small block V8. Those who are familiar with the many motors available in the 1963 SS package know that the 350 was not one of them, but this powerplant is an upgrade from original. A fresh crate motor was installed only about 200 miles ago. This comes with the dyno sheets (at 387 rear wheel HP) to prove it has been tuned to compete with just about everything else out there on the streets. So this coupe is more powerful, and reliable than those Impalas that have had the same motor for 50+ years. The new V8 also included an upgrade to the GM TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. When it's time to impress at the car show, the engine bay won't disappoint. It grabs attention with some nice chrome touches, modern Chevrolet performance valve covers, and plenty of cool vintage components like the factory-installed windshield washer glass bottle.

This coupe has the perfect mix of originality with a few subtle upgrades (the included restoration receipts have all the details.) It's a power steering car, which makes this the perfect reliable cruiser that's just waiting for you. Enjoy it today...call now!!
