TRUE RS, 350 V8, AUTO, PWR FRONT DISCS, PWR STEER, TIC-TOC-TACH, VERY NICE SOLID

It's hard to go wrong with a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS, especially when it's in the perfect color combination. The timeless shape will always look good, and these cars garner instant respect on the road, and on the show field. And as a true Rally Sport...what could be better?

The bodywork is tidy on this Camaro. It's been resprayed from a sedate turquoise to a much more appealing red. It provides the perfect backdrop to highlight the blacked-out front Rally Sport panel, black Bumblebee Stripe, and black vinyl roof. The overall effect of this coordinating red-on-black coupe is both aggressive and attractive. All the other goodies on the car make it easy to love, including the chin spoiler, new sports budge hood, and factory ducktail spoiler that always finishes these cars with a flourish. It wouldn't be a true 60s GM classic without the optional Rally wheels. Of course the hallmark of the RS package is the headlights hidden within the grille.

Just like the exterior, the turquoise interior was changed to a new more aggressive style, and its hard to argue with red on black. Now this Camaro has exceptionally comfortable black bucket seats with matching carpets, headliner, and door panels. ... Please ask for the full description.

TRUE RS, 350 V8, AUTO, PWR FRONT DISCS, PWR STEER, TIC-TOC-TACH, VERY NICE SOLID

The overall effect of this coordinating red-on-black coupe is both aggressive and attractive.

A three-spoke rosewood steering wheel warms the dark interior, and beyond that, the pod-style gauges have a nice shine. And yes, you're looking at the famous Tic-Toc-Tach for the driver. In fact, this Camaro is full of iconic charm with the fuel and oil gauges in the center console and the cool horseshoe shifter for the automatic transmission. Other factory desirables include the Astro Ventilation heat/defrost, and the original AM radio. Overall, this coupe might not have started out its life looking this cool, but now it feels like the car you would have ordered brand new in 1968.

Under the hood is a stout 350 cubic-inch V8. It's a newer small block, so it has far fewer miles on it than most '68 Camaros out there. Plus, there are many affordable upgrades for this motor that can be added in a matter of hours. In fact, this one already comes with plenty of car show worthy chrome in the engine bay, and a Hooker exhaust system for added performance. If you decide to do any more upgrades, the rest of the drivetrain can handle it. The power is sent through a three-speed automatic transmission that feeds into the durable 10-bolt rear end. The suspension is all stock, so you don't have to worry that someone has monkeyed with the geometry or created a lowered monster that rides like a brick. For further cruising convenience, this coupe has options like power steering, and power brakes with discs up front. This results in a classic that has an overall aggressive look, but a nice drive.

This Camaro is an affordable RS car that has the right looks to grab all the attention. This is a true classic inside and out and is priced so it wont stay in our showroom long. Call now!!
