WOW! You'd expect to pay a heck of a lot more for a first year Stingray convertible. Even better, this 1963 Chevrolet Corvette is a numbers-matching, four-speed in its original color combination.
You want attention, and you'll get it in this great looking roadster. Everybody's got a red Corvette, but here's your opportunity to standout out like the white shining knight in this factory correct Ermine. Fit and finish of the fiberglass is in very good condition, befitting a car that's led a pampered life under the care of one family for the last 35 years. The headlights fit flush, the door gaps are even, and the pleat that surrounds the body is crisp and almost sharp enough to give you a paper cut. C2s don't have a lot of chrome, but everything on this car shows rather well, including the bumpers, those ribbed rocker panel moldings, and the unmistakable 15-inch knockoff wheels. To cap it all off, you can choose between the white fabric top and the optional white hardtop for even better protection.
Red seems like it is still a must in a Corvette, and so this convertible saved it for the inside. The interior is so astonishingly pristine that you'll have to pour through all the included ... Please ask for the full description.

The interior is so astonishingly pristine that you'll have to pour through all the included restoration receipts to find out what's new, and what's amazingly preserved. The red vinyl bucket seats, three-spoke sports steering wheel, door panels, and carpets feel like it's 1963 all over again. C2 Corvettes came with every gauge you could need, and all of them are still in perfect working order. This even includes the clock, which is often conked-out on Corvettes of this age. Two other original pieces that are nice to see running are the heat/defrost and the optional AM/FM radio.
The engine is the base 327 cubic-inch small-block V8. It's a numbers-matching motor, but pop the hood, and you'll notice there's something very special about this factory equipment. The engine was rebuilt less than 4,000 miles ago to add some serious shine and performance. So beyond the chrome that will be envied at every car show, the motor has been boosted from the original 250 hp to a much more macho 300 hp. The factory four-speed manual is the kind of option that makes collectors drool, because it provides good control for power takeoffs while still having an extra gear for better highway cruising. The power is then sent to the independent rear suspension with Bilstein shocks and a new VBP transverse leaf spring. This is also a power steering and power brake car, so feel free to spend the weekend running around in this exceptionally clean 'Vette.
1963 Corvettes are still highly sought for their first year appeal, and with the split-window coupes stealing the show, roadsters like this remain very affordable alternatives. With matching numbers, lots of performance, a great color combination, and even the original owner's manual included, this Stingray 'Vette is a winner. Call now!!
