It runs beautifully, idling smoothly and pulling with seemingly bottomless reserves of torque, and unlike the 5.0, it doesn't seem to run out of breath at high RPM. Another advantage of a modern classic is the use of the original five-speed manual overdrive transmission. The handling is superior with power steering and four-wheel disc brakes that include ABS. The grippy Toyo Proxes T1R tires provide the final touches, and with such low miles, it wouldn't surprise us if this was the second set of rubber ever placed on this coupe.
